Day 1 : Where we collide

Yuvika is excited for the trekking trip. Although her mother was against of it but her father managed it for her. Now she's busy exploring the location of trekking camp with her friend Tanya. "Yaar, I really don't like Karthik. Tu usse better deserve karti hai", exclaims Tanya. Yuvika rolls her eyes at her. She was about to say something but gets cut off by Tanya " Ab tu yeh maat kehna ki he is the one. Kyunki mujhe toh aisa nahi lagta". Yuvika asks feeling annoyed "Kyu?. Uspe kaate laage hue hain?". "Kaate ka pata nahi lekin agar main kahu ki soulmate kaise pehchaane jaate hai toh kya tu sunegi?", says Tanya. Yuvika nods at her to continue. 

"Jab tu apni he is the one se milegi tab Tere dhadkan tej ho jayegi, itna tej hoga ki woh dhadkan tu apni lower abdomen mein bhi feel karegi", says Tanya while chuckling. Yuvika giggles at her. "Toh ab batah hua aisa kuch jab tu Karthik se mili ya phir jab usne tujhe propose kiya?",asks Tanya. Yuvika so wanted to tell a lie but couldn't tell that. She nods at negative. "Dekha maine kaha tha na. Abhi bhi waqt hai breakup karde uske saath taaki woh yeh baat shaadi tak na khich paaye", says Tanya. "Main sochungi iss bare mein", mumbles Yuvika. 

"Accha chal camp pe wapas chalte hai", says Tanya. "Tu chal main tere piche hi hoon", says Yuvika. Tanya goes from there. Many people are entering at the camp. She thought she'll walk slowly. She starts going up to the hill. Suddenly her legs gets tangled & loses her balance. Her eyes gets close. "Aah..", screams Yuvika while falling over a person. That person groans "Ow..What the....". Yuvika looks at the person & the person looks at her. 

When their eyes met, time gets standstill. They're staring at each other. Yuvika could hear her heartbeats. Surprisingly she can hear that person's heartbeat too. For Neil, it's like his eyes can't seem snap out from her. After eternity, Neil breaks the stare contest while clearing his throat. Yuvika's trance gets break & gets embarrassed. They both gets up from the ground. Neil looks at his camera which is damaged now. He frowns & says " Dekh ke chalna chahiye warna dusro ke chiz kharab ho jata hai". 

Yuvika was so embarrassed that she wanted to hide it. "Excuse me?. Yeh accident tha. Itna hyper hone ke zaroorat nahi hai", says Yuvika. "Ismein hyper hone ka kya dekha apne?. Maine bas free advice diya hai madam", says Neil. Yuvika gets annoyed hearing madam as she thinks it's not used to refer young people. "Mujhe nahi pata tha ki Aaj kal log free mein advice bhi dete hain!?", says Yuvika. Neil narrows his eyes at her "Waise apko mujhe sorry bolna chahiye. Lekin aap baat ko rubber ke tarah khich rahi hain". Yuvika looks here & there. Neil chuckles & Yuvika glares at him.

"Lagta kabhi sorry nahi bola apne kisiko ab taak. Isiliye practice kaam hai", says Neil cheekily. "Aisa kuch nahi hai. Suno I'm sorry. Woh Mera dyaan nahi tha isiliye main aap se takrayi", says Yuvika. "Waise I'm sorry too. Kyunki main bhi samne na dekhkar chal raha tha aur camera bhi acche se nahi pakda", says Neil. They both stare at each other but this time Yuvika averts her eyes from him. Neil rubs his neck feeling embarrassed. "Damn.... hormonal teenager ke tarah behave kar raha hoon. Control yourself", thinks Neil. 

"Jab galti hum dono ke the aur hum dono ne ek dusre se maafi bhi mangli toh kya hum dost ban sakte hai?", says Neil while forwarding his hand towards Yuvika. Yuvika looks at his hand & then slowly forwards her hand. They handshake with each other. "Well upar chalte hai. Shaam ho gayi hai", says Neil. Yuvika nods at him & starts going up with him. "Waise main aapko tum bulau?!", says Yuvika. "Of course. After all friendship mein aap nahi chalta kyunki yeh formality lagta hai", says Neil. 

"Tum pehle baar aaye ho yaha?",asks Yuvika. Neil nods at her. "Main bhi aur yeh mera 1st trekking trip hai", says Yuvika. "Ohh. Phir toh main tumhe help kar sakta hoon tent lagane mein. Hills pe tent lagana easy nahi hota hai", says Neil. "Actually meri dost Tanya bhi hai mere saath so mujhe lagta hai usne laga liya hoga. Yeh sab mein woh expert hai", chuckles Yuvika. Neil smiles at her. 

As they goes up to hill, Tanya spots them. "Yuvika, kaha reh gayi thi tu?",asks Tanya. Then she looks at Neil first then looks at Yuvika teasingly. "Waise tune introduce nahi karwa abhi taak?",asks Tanya to Yuvika. Yuvika thinks herself stupid for not asking this person's name. "Hi, myself Neil. Aur tum?", says Neil. "Hi, Tanya here", says Tanya. "The name Neil itself sounds peace", thinks Yuvika. "Accha Yuv chaal humein bohot kaam hai. See you at dinner, Neil", says Tanya while nudging Yuvika to say something to Neil. "Milte hain Neil", says Yuvika while Tanya feels like banging her head on wall for her stupidity. "Okay phir milte hain", saying this Neil goes from there while thinking that if this Yuvika is that Yuvika which he knows.

Life literally changed in this 2 years. Her father's death & now scandal issues. But Yuvika was shocked seeing Neil being Vidhur uncle's son. "Tum ek paheli ho Neil. Khud tumne mujhe indirectly gold digger bola aur Aaj khud advice diya ki mujhe kisi ke intezar na karke apna kaam khudse karna chahiye. Sach mein Tum mere samaj ke bahar ho", mumbles Yuvika.
