Well Naira did ran away from home for almost 10 years so she had more worldly experience and akshara grew up quite sheltered with grandparents with traumatized childhood. And Goenkas were grandparents so they didn't raise them they indulged these children and provide for them. There's clear difference between parents and grandparents upbringing. Even with Sharma family you can see muskaan grandmother was very overprotective and indulged her but abhinav she considered as son so time to time she advised and scolded him and akshara like mother for Muskaan abhinav and akshara were like parents caring for her career and giving life and marriage advice not her grandmother. All these Goenka children had some or other psychological issues from not having parental guidance. Kairav became man of the house so early so never had any proper relationship too busy with family issues Arohi was insecure about her place in family as all that family did was talk about kaira eternal love so her mother was rarely mentioned so she craved attention adding watching her mother tumbling to her death all her sorrow turned into bitterness and anger that fell on akshara and akshara too young was asked into promising to take care of Arohi which she tried to at her best suffering panic attacks and developed run away personality became self conscious of her own worth and family expectations of becoming like Naira. In the process of trying to please her family she tried to mould herself as per their wishes and in the process lost her personality even with abhira marriage she tried to please everyone being sacrificing fool but ended up hurting everyone only in kasauli it seemed her true personality came forward she was living for herself and the family she built with so much care like her mother she faught back to everyone she would not have otherwise to protect that little world of hers. Didn't you read complete post. Akshara og and Naira both had parents to scold and correct them they didn't have so much childhood baggage and both had parental influence on their upbringing. Naira even living apart remembered her parents and their upbringing while akshara even if she stayed away from home her grandparents didn't put their foot down and resolved tension between sister disciplined them in fact they let her go taking easy way out to avoid conflict. And that's what she learned going away to avoid conflict and also hearing her mother's stories a biased views from her grandparents she knew her mother did the same things so she didn't think it's wrong to leave everything behind for family and go away from their life
