Smells a bit like overcompensation to me. Literally and figuratively. 

Amul does this with everything lol. Be it Virat-Anushka's wedding or PC's weird detective train dress. Doesn't mean it's a success. The only movie they have outright called a blockbuster in the comic itself is Bahubali. 

Oh.. Amul does this with literally everything. 

I guess the movies has done well.

Not a blockbuster , but it is definitely a hit
