Jubilee on Prime

Wonder if anyone else has watched the show

Was looking for a good tv show and so far am loving it.

I always like it when people behind the camera make a movie/serial on themselves.

Even though the backdrop is India's independence and partition, the focus is on the Hindi film industry and the ambitions and lives of the people in it.

I tried watching Dahaad and Kohraa but somewhere the story was lost beneath the urge to shove an agenda down our throats. Jubilee so far is all about story-telling and thankfully there are no gratuitous sex scenes which seem to litter every other show.There are minor stupidities but overall the story remains coherent.

I have not watched anything with Aparshakti Khurana before but he is very impressive here so is frankly everyone else.
