A very good last over but that does not change the fact that this is a massive total. To say that the Royals' bowlers had an off day would be an understatement. They had a horrendous outing with nearly every bowler going for 10 an over. After being asked to bat first, the Warriors got off to a brisk start. Odean Smith got an early reprieve after being bowled off a no-ball and even as he and Ayub fell, Shai Hope looked in incredible form. Kevlon Anderson, on debut, was fantastic as well and supported Hope well. Hope, meanwhile, was destructive. He was quick to dispatch anything even remotely loose and there was plenty of loose stuff tonight. He scored 32 off a Rakheem Cornwall over to bring up his maiden CPL century and took the Warriors through to a massive total. So a huge task ahead for the Royals.
