Mangal Dhillon was an Indian actor, writer, director and film producer. He was born in Wander Jatana near Kotkapura in Faridkot district, Punjab. He died in Ludhiana, Punjab, after a long battle with cancer at the age of 48.

Dhillon began his career in theatre in the early 1990s. He made his television debut in the 1995 soap opera "Katha Sagar". He went on to star in several other popular television shows, including "Junoon", "Buniyaad", and "Ghutan".

Dhillon made his film debut in the 1997 film "Khoon Bhari Maang". He went on to star in several other films, including "Dayavan", "Zakhmi Aurat", "Vishwatma", "Pyaar Ka Devta", "Amba", "Toofan Singh", and "Daalal".

Dhillon was also a successful director and producer. He directed the films "Bhrashtachar" and "Zindagi Ek Juaa". He also produced the films "Heer Ranjha" and "Param Vir Chakra".

RIP.

He was deffo older than 48.

I remember watching him in Junoon. And roles in Khoon Bhari maang and Vishwatma.

He did lot of work on DD in 80s and 90s.

Very solid baritone and good command over language, clear pronunciation.

I used to follow his YouTube channel also. He later turned to spirituality and making films on Sikh history, videos on spirituality.

He died rather young IMO. Must be around 60 in real life or his 50s.

Not 48 for sure.

He made a good villain. He had rough looks.

We do not have such manly actors on TV anymore, with that kind of voice and command over language.

Man's voice was so solid that he would have made a great narrator too.

Yes.

Internet wale peddle anything. This man was working in serials and doing mature roles since 1980s.

No way can he be merely 48.

Late 50s or 60s is more believable.
