Tiger 3 is the bigger movie in terms of budget, scale and buzz. So I think it deserves the Christmas release.
SRK was the one who started the shuffle. So he could have taken Christmas first. Regardless, he should at least move Jawaan to Diwali. Diwali is still better than random September weekend.

Jawan is releasing on Janmashtami, the birthday of Lord Krishna. It's a good enough weekend.
