Which films can suit other actors besides original cast?

I was watching Shool yesterday and felt it was tailor made for Amitabh Bachchan and seemed to be inspired by Amitabh's old hits like Inquilaab, Zanjeer etc. And a younger Amitabh would have fit Manoj's role like a glove.

I felt a younger Ash would have been better suited for Padmavat and Bajirao Mastani. She suits royal roles well. Even a younger Hema Malini would have suited Padmavat really well if it was made in her time. Madhubala or Madhuri could also have been well fit in Bajirao Mastani.

Which films, made you feel, like some other actor could also have done that role well? (Not necessarily better but as good as the one who did that role)

Young Madhuri could have been perfect for Gangubai Kathiawadi

Maybe A Bronx Tale

I feel even young Vidya Balan would have been good for Gangubai or maybe younger Shabana or Smita Patil.

Definitely Aish for Padmavat. It just didn't seem believable to me that a king would obsess over Deepika.. an Aishwarya on the other hand 😍

I felt same. Only Ash has that beauty for which someone would get obsessed or wage a war.

No one else has that kind of dazzling beauty at their peak.

Ash of 90s was perfect for such roles.

Madhubala would have looked damn good as Mastani in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's movie Bajirao Mastani.

Exactly! Sholay, Deewar and Zanjeer were tailor made for Mr. Bacchan. I haven't yet watched The Great Gambler and Deewar. However, I really want to watch these movies.
