Two teams that find themselves at the wrong end of the table face off tonight in the second game of the WPL. Smriti Mandhana's RCB take on Sneh Rana's Gujarat Giants. Both sides come into this one off the back of wins, but realise well enough that they can afford no more slip ups if they are to keep the dream of the playoffs alive. A must win game for both sides, let's see how this game goes. Stay tuned for toss and team updates...

Gujarat captain Sneh Rana: "I'm really happy with the girls' positive attitude and hope they continue it. 160-165 looks par on this wicket."

RCB captain Smriti Mandhana: " Even if we lose the toss, we want to win the game and we wanted to field anyway. One changes: Renuka misses out and Preeti comes in for her."

Sneh Rana: We will bat first. The matches played earlier, the surface has got slower. In place of Mansi, Meghna comes in. I’m happy with the way girls performed the other day, the played with the right positive attitude. I think the pitches might change but 160-165 would be a par score.

Smriti Mandhana: I don’t know if the tosses have been 50-50 or 60-40. Don’t mind losing tosses if we can win matches. We were looking to field anyway because we chase better than we set totals. One change, Renuka misses out and Preeti comes in.

Smriti Mandhana-led side opened their account with a clinical five-wicket win against UP Warriorz. Now that game acted as a lifeline for Giants, who went on to defend 147 against a strong Delhi Capitals side to revive their campaign, and push RCB back to the bottom of the points table.

The funny thing is RCB won their only match in 6 outings against UP warriorz while MI lost their only match in 6 outings against the same team.  Does that mean RCB is better than MI?πŸ€”
