Yeh IMDB wale jhingur log hain.

IMDB Top 250 ke list pe jaoege toh usmein Hollywood pickhar hai, Japanese pikchar hain, Portuguese pikchar hain..... lekin Indian pikchar EK BHI NAHIN.

Basically, bhot Indian pikchar (I think) yeh rating mein ghus rele the... toh unlog ne Indian movies ke liye ek separate list bana diya aur konte mein phenk diya. 🤬

Merko emotion hurt huwa, and merko lagta yeh racist (ya jo bhi ist bolo) hai. What do you think?

Everytime I look at the IMDb all time list I wonder if there are no women on that website. Same with Rate Your Music's best albums 😆

Anyway there's 3 Idiots at 84, TZP at 122, Dangal at 125 and Pather Panchali at 226. Which I think is solid showing for non-English films, especially in that kind of dude bro list. 

Edit - Also Jai Bhim at 233. Cuz why not😆

Some years ago AAA, Swades, 3 Idiots, Lagaan, TZP had made it to IMDB top 250 at different points of time.

But did not stay long.

I think 3 Idiots may still be there.

It depends on how popular a film is and how many genuine users and voters voted for it.

Indians also keep downvoting films of ones they hate or do not vote at all. Nor do Indian films have as much global audience as say, Hollywood films.

So Indian films hardly stay in IMDb top 250 for a longer time or at a higher rank.
