🏏WPL 2023: UP Warriorz W vs Mumbai Indians Women : Match 10🏏

UP Warriorz vs Mumbai Indians women, 10th Match WPL 2023 – UP-w vs MI-w Cricket Match Preview, Prediction, Head-To-Head, Where To Watch, Probable 11 And Fantasy 11 Tips On Cricketnmore

Inarguably the strongest spin-attack in the competition vs the team with the breakout spin star of the tournament!

UP Warriorz will 'host' Mumbai Indians at the Brabourne's batting paradise today, aiming to snap the table-toppers' dream run in the league and continue their winning streak.⭐️

Mumbai are unbeaten so far - beating Gujarat Giants (143 runs), Royal Challengers Bangalore (9 wickets) and Delhi Capitals (8 wickets) comprehensively and making all those contests almost boring, one-sided affairs. ⭐️

Left-arm spinner Saika Ishaque has been a standout performer with the ball and the current Purple Cap holder, while Hayley Matthews is only second in the Orange Cap race.

That the team has barely put a foot wrong despite Harmanpreet Kaur's rotten luck with the three tosses is truly down to the depth of their XI that has all bases covered.

MI have as many as four of their bowlers in the top-10 wicket-takers of the tournament, and are the only team to have claimed all 30 of the opposition's wickets.

As such, Alyssa Healy's season-best 96* came at just the right time for the Warriorz.

Their captain being back among runs will be a big relief for the side wose batting seemed a tad unsettled, what with a number of players not contributing sufficiently in the early part of the competition.

The misfiring opening combination led to a change with the Warriorz promoting Devika Vaidya that got the left-right combination going for them. Although, Healy nearly single-handedly drove the sub-par chase in their 10-wicket thrashing of RCB.

That victory, however, was set up by Warriorz's envious spin attack which has Sophie Ecclestone, Deepti Sharma and Rajeshwari Gayakwad bowling in tandem.

The troika returned combined figures of 8 for 65 in the 11.3 overs between them, claiming all of RCB wickets that fell (the remaining two were run-outs) on a track that still had plenty in it for the batters if they applied themselves and little for bowlers of any variety.

UP-W vs MI-W Dream11 Team Prediction WPL 2023, Fantasy Cricket Hints UP Warriorz vs Mumbai Indians Match 10: Captain, Vice-Captain, Playing 11s, At 7:30 PM IST March 12 Sunday

UP Warriorz:

Warriorz have been excellent in picking horses for courses, even if that meant benching some of the most experienced heads/top performers in their ranks. For their second successive game at the Brabourne, they would likely stick with the same XI which not just gives them more spin options but also a slightly length batting order for the conditions expected.

Probable XI: Alyssa Healy (c & wk), Shweta Sehrawat, Kiran Navgire, Tahlia McGrath, Deepti Sharma, Grace Harris, Devika Vaidya, Simran Shaikh, Sophie Ecclestone, Anjali Sarvani, Rajeshwari Gayakwad

Mumbai Indians:

MI picked their strongest XI on the opening night - with a good mix of uncapped domestic talent - and has run with it since. The diverse bowling options in their XI make them an all-conditions unit capable of countering whatever's thrown at them, and the league toppers may not be making any changes yet. Why fix it if it isn't broken, eh?

Probable XI: Hayley Matthews, Yastika Bhatia (wk), Nat Sciver-Brunt, Harmanpreet Kaur (c), Amelia Kerr, Pooja Vastrakar, Issy Wong, Amanjot Kaur, Humaira Kazi, Jintimani Kalita, Saika Ishaque

Despite RCB's collapse to 138 on Friday, CCI's "absolute belter" of a pitch got its latest endorsement from Ellyse Perry. Luckily for Mumbai, they'll be back playing on the same track on which they beat RCB by 9 wickets at the start of this week.

What they said?

"Jon [Lewis, UPW coach] basically kind of articulated the style of play and has felt coming into women's cricket that spin plays an important role in T20 cricket. So yeah, we kind of went with that, and I was more than comfortable. As you know, I'm all for spinners. The new bowlers can take a bit of the shine off and we keep going so and so from an auction point of view, it was like trying to complement all of them as well" - Lisa Sthalekar, Warriorz mentor, explains the team's spin-heavy auction strategy.

"The bowlers are making my job easier, they are willing to bowl and ready to give us those breakthroughs. When you have so many bowling options, my job is easy. Credit goes to our bowlers for the way they are bowling to their fields. After the last game, we sat and discussed. In the last game, we bowled a few bad balls but today we backed our plans and our skills" - Harmanpreet Kaur heaped praise on her bowling unit after shooting down DC cheaply.

UP Warriorz  VS Mumbai Indians Women

UP-W vs MI-W Match Toss Prediction

UP Warriorz enjoyed batting second in the game on Friday and we expect them to field first irrespective of who wins the toss ahead of this match.

UP-W vs MI-W, Brabourne Stadium Pitch Report

As shown by Devika Vaidya and Alyssa Healy in the second innings of Match 8, this is still a very consistent batting wicket in Mumbai.

Mumbai Weather Report

Sunny early in the evening before clear skies across the length of the rest of the game. The temperature will remain in the 30s during the match.

This is the grudge match. Cheaply raised questions on the commitment of Harmanpreet in world cup. Harmanpreet loves bashing the aussies as we saw vs the GG. Hopefully same happens here. But i wish cheaply wasn't the captain of UP. That team has an MSD Fangirls club.

UPW vs MIW Prediction

The strength in depth at Mumbai Indians is very impressive with certain players like Hayley Matthews, Nat Sciver-Brunt and Saika Ishaque playing way above their opponents at the moment. There are no injury worries ahead of this match.

Hayley Matthews- the West Indian has been brilliant with both bat and ball in this tournament. She took another three wickets and hit another 32 runs in Thursday’s game.

Mumbai Indians are the only team to still have a 100% record in the competition and are targeting their fourth win in a row.
