Why hasn't Samantha won Padmashri yet?

I feel the govt always snubs non-Bollywood actors and fails to recognize their achievements.

That's because Priyanka is a mere actor. She has to act. Samantha is a star, she transcends roles, character, films, mediums. You can never forget she is there, because she just is that big a screen presence. It's her curse to bear as the most charismatic actor to ever actor, this side of Y2K.

The actresses who are senior to her and who can act circles around the likes of her like Jaya Sudha etc haven’t got yet and you want this talentless starlet to get it already? If Kangana can get after doing a handful of movies, may be Samantha will get one too. Hope she learns the right buttons to press.
