At the rate the Indian government keeps awarding Padmashri to every tom dick and harry, it's puzzling indeed to see that Samantha hadn't won yet

The problem is with the blatant sidelining of regional industries. Of course Jaya Sudha deserves it far more than many Padma Sri recipients but everyone knows it's a politics game.

Padmashri is a recognition for people who has done distinguished service or contribution to the field.

She should be awarded Bharatratna 👍🏼
