It's just another day in Rane household where Kalyani is talking to her little baby Pillu while cuddling him in her arms standing near the balcony
"Kaisa hain mela pillu? Dinner kiya tune acche se?"
Pillu looked at her with a smiley face showing 12 of the teeth he has got.
Kalyani stopped for a second and said slowly
"Sorry Pillu....ab bas kuch din aur. Fir main har roz tujhe apne haaton se khilaungi, khud sulaungi aur hum wo saari masti kar payenge jo hum karte aarahe hain bachpan se."
Kalyani bounced him in her arms and he giggled loudly making those happy noises which makes Kalyani's life truly worth living.
"Exams khatam hone ke baad aai aur Pillu khoob khelenge haina Pillu?"
"Aur Aai-Baba bhi bohot kuch karenge, bas Pillu ki Aai ki graduation ho jaye"
AND KALYANI COULD FEEL ALL THE BUTTERFLIES OF THE WORLD IN HER TUMMY, LIKE EVERY OTHER TIME!!
As her husband said the line huskily in her ear. His lips brushed Kalyani's ears making her all mushy.
She didn't even realise when he came into the room and heard them talking. He just kept his chin on her shoulder from the back keeping his hand exactly on her navel knowing very well what effect it leaves on her senses.
Kalyani got shy listening to his statement knowing very well what he meant but still didn't forget to play along
"Aai-Baba bohot kuch karenge matlab?!"
"Arreh main keh raha hu ki tumhari graduation khatam ho jayegi to kya Moksh sirf tumhare saath hi khelega aur mujhe bhool jayega?! Aai baba aur Pillu khelenge haina" Malhar had that naughty smile playing on his face. He also knew that Kalyani effortlesy understood what he meant!
Kalyani closed her eyes and smiled as she felt her husband totally wrapping her and their son in his embarace before leaving a kiss on her cheek and his head.
It's been one and half eyes since Pillu's operation and Trilok getting caught. KalMa at last have got the opportunity to start their life on a fresh note. They both had reciprocated the love long before and knew how madly they are in love with each other but didn't take the next move as Malhar wanted them to wait till her studies get done.
And now only a few days are left for Kalyani's final exams to approach. Her graduation will be completed finally after three years of studying and struggles. It's knocking at the door and Malhar is not letting Kalyani do literally anything except studying. He is doing everything even beyond his ability just to make things easier for Kalyani to focus on revision perfectly. Kalyani is realising everyday how much this man actually loves her and how lucky she is to be getting all his love.
Moksh is getting less time to spend with his mother and getting cranky too at times. Kalyani is also missing spending time with him as the mother in her can not stop thinking about Moksh but Malhar's instructions are just too strict.
As Anupriya herself is also going through the same pressure, Malhar is trying his level best to take care of his son without having to take help from Aai or Kalyani. Pushka bai takes a good care throughout the day even if Kalyani and Anupriya are at home. Malhar does the night duty. Sometimes Anupriya insists a lot on keeping Moksh with her saying she doesn't study at night but studies in the morning when moksh doesn't wake up. But Malhar most of the times keeps Pillu with them.
Kalyani sat down to complete her revision for the day after their cute family moment. Malhar came back to the room and locked the door. Kalyani looked at him and it didn't take her long to understand that he had dropped pillu at aai's room only.
"Aaj bhi aapne pillu ko aai ke paas rehne diya?"
"Aai abhi sone hi jaa rahi hain Kalyani. Wo subhe uthke padhayi karengi. Aur abhi Moksh ko launga toh wo tumhare paas rehne ki zidd karta"
"Toh reh leta kuch der Malharji isme itni kya badi baat hain!"
"Abhi thodi der pehle khana khane ke baad to wo tumhare hi saath tha Kalyani. Abhi tum padh rahi ho, Moksh aayega to mind divert hoga."
"Malharji maa hone ke naate kya itni bhi zinmedari main nehi uthaungi? Ke jab mere bacche ki bas yehi khwahish ho ki wo apni maa ke paas reh sakhe tab main kya usse wo samay wo mamta na doon? Kya itni buri maa hu main ki apne bacche ka dhyaan tak na rakh pau?"
"Maine aise to nehi bola Kalyani" Malhar said helplessly as he sat near her.
"Mujhe pata hain ki tum duniya ki best aai ho. Aur ye bhi pata hain ki tum Moksh ke saath samay bitana chahti ho aur Moksh ko bhi tumhare bina rehne ki aadat nehi hain. Par bas inn kuch dinon ke liye keh raha hu. Next week se exams start hone wale hain. Ab tumhara poora dhyaan padhayi aur khudpe hona chahiye. Moksh ke liye hum sab hain"
"Bas bol diya aur ho gaya? Malharji aapko aisa kyun lagta hain ki main moksh ka dhyaan padhayi ke saath nehi rakh paungi?" Kalyani said with teardrop filling in her eyes.
"Baat ye nehi hain ki tum rakh paogi ya nehi" Malhar said in a deep voice.
"To kya baat hain?" Kalyani said in the same way.
Malhar cupped her face into his palms and said
"Baat ye hain ki main tumhe padhayi ke pressure ke saath saath moksh ke zinmedariyon ka pressure bhi lete nehi dekh sakhta! Mujhe pata hain, Moksh tumhare saath sabse zyada khush rehta hain. Arre jab se bolna seekha hain tabse har wakt "aaii" "mumma" boltam rehta hain. Aur main bohot acche se jaanta hoon ki moksh ka khayal rakhna tumhe sukoon deta hain. Main bhi baba hoon uska. Mujhe bhi ye ehsas hain.
Par Kalyani ekbaar socho. Kya tumhare baaki classmates ke paas aisi koyi responsibility hain? Exam bas kuch dinon baad hain aur abhi saare students sirf aur sirf padhayi pe focus kar rahe honge."
Malhar finally brought her face closer and joined their foreheads together. He said as a lone tear came out from his eyes
"Aur mere ya humare bacche ke wajah se tumhari normal student life mein koyi badha aaye ye mujhe kabhi manzoor nehi"
"Malharji..." Kalyani said as she herself was in an emotional state.
She wiped his tears and he just hugged her tightly. He was fighting with himself for keeping his son away from his mother.
Kalyani spoke softly after providing him the warmth of her embarace.
"Aapne sahi kaha. Mere kisi bhi classmate ki zindagi waisi nehi hain jaisi meri hain. Aur ye unki bad-kismati hain!!!"
Malhar broke the hug and looked at her. She now hold his face and said
"College se aake hi jab Pillu mujhe dekhke excited ho jaata hain aur daudke mere paas aata hain, aai bolke gale lagata hain- wo khushi unke paas nehi hain.
Din bhar ki saari baatein aapko bata paana aur aapse har problem ka solution maangne ka jo privilege hain mere paas, wo unke paas nehi hain.
Humari happy family mere dil ko jo chaen deta hain wo unke paas nehi hain
Har har din aapki bahon mein aake mujhe jo sukoon milta hain, jiss sukoon ke bina main zindagi soch bhi nehi sakhti wo kisi ke paas nehi hain!!"
Malhar smiled with so much happiness evident on his face. His family is his world and for all the valid reasons. He kissed her hands which were intertwined with hers as she continued
"Support ek bohot badi cheeze hain Malharji. Ye sabke paas nehi hoti par mere paas hain. Aapka saath, aapka support aur aapka pyaar mujhe unn sabse zyada privileged banata hain. Aur sabke struggles alag hote hain. Main toh lucky hu kyunki mujhe mere problems baantne ke liye already life partner mil gaya hain jo kabhi mujhe akela nehi chodega."
The conversation ended with a sweet kiss as they felt content in the own sweet world.
"Ek baat bolu ab?"
"Madam aap kabhi rukti hain mere mana karne se?" Malhar said before she gave him the angry glares.
"Meri aaj ki padhayi ho gayi hain. Ab toh hume bhi sona hi hain. Pillu ko laiye na aai ke room se. Koyi bhi normal day hota to main nehi bolti but aaj poore din college mein thi aur uske saath zyada wakt hi nehi bita payi. Kal bhi poora din padhayi mein hi jaane wala hain atleast raat mein toh paas rahe hunare"
Malhar rolled his eyes with a smile and went to bring pillu. She went to get freshened up and joined her favourite boys on bed after they came.
Pillu was asleep till then. Kalyani made him lay on her bossom and kept her head on Malhar's shoulder.
Malhar opened her hair tie and said
"Ye Baal bandhe ki kya zaroorat hain" his fingers went running through her hair.
"Kaam karne ke time pe baal khule rakho toh saare baal aise face pe aate hain Malharji! Pata bhi hain aapko kitna irritating hota hain?"
"Pata bhi hain kitne khoobsurat lagti ho?" Malhar said making Kalyani blush as he hugged her and moksh protectively while sleeping.
Next few days went by Kalyani taking the ultimate preparations with full determination. The exams finally got started and she is confident and content with the preparation she has taken.
There were days when Malhar would come home, feed moksh first and then feed Kalyani also while having dinner. Malhar even used get caught up with work so Pushka bai used to feed moksh before leaving.
Kalyani might just get tired of studying and Malhar would talk about topics straight out of her books so that she gets to memorise in an even better way. His explainations appeared to be much easier than the explanations she used to find in books. She teased him saying that she actually has found the "Sarvagun Sampanna" husband.
Exams kept going really well for Kalyani and Anupriya as their determination and hardwork was at top.
It was the day of the last exam. Malhar woke up early as he had to leave for the station earlier. He said
"Aaj tumhara last exam bhi khatam ho jayega. Teen saal hone wale hain almost. Kitna kuch dekha hain Humne saath mein. Main bas tumhe zindagi mein kamiyab bante dekhna chahta hu Kalyani. Aage ka safar kaisa hoga pata nehi par main jaanta hu ki hum saath hain to ye safar suhana ho hi jayega." He kissed her forhead and left.
Kalyani was checking some important notes a few times again with Anupriya while taking her breakfast.
"Kalyani Malhar kahin dikh nehi raha" Asked Anupriya.
"Aai aaj wo jaldi chale gaye pata nehi kyun"
"Oh shayad kaam hoga."
"Haan"
"To aaj hum dono bhi Akele jayenge haina...to abhi nikalte hain. Agar late ho gaye to?"
"Haan aai ye sahi kaha tumne. Hume nikalna chahiye. Waise bhi aajke exam ko leke bohot darr lag raha hain. Baaki exams toh bohot acche gaye. Last mein aake koyi gadbad na ho"
Kalyani kissed pillu and left him with pushka bai.
The exam went well and Kalyani was filled with happiness after discussing the question with friends and realising that almost all her answers were correct.
She was coming out of the college gate with her friends and suddenly she saw her pyaare pati looking at her with pure adoration. Malhar saw her and clearly understood that she successfully completed this exam too!
Kalyani ran and almost jumped into his arms and he swirled her beautifully forgetting all the surroundings.
Their big smiles expressed their happiness and only they knew how important her studies have been for them!
All the friends and classmates were clapping and cheering when KalMa realised where they actually are at!
They got departed and got red due to all the teasing smiles looking at them. Kalyani's classmates were adoring their relationship and dreaming to find a price charming like Kalyani's.
"Toh aaj bataiye aap dono! Kaise gaye exams? Har roz bolti hain ki ye wala accha gaya par next wale ko leke darr lag raha hain. Aaj isiliye main khud hi lene chale aaya taaki pooch sakhu ki aaj toh khush hain mahila mandal!"
Malhar said as they walked together till his jeep.
"Akhir khatam huyi ye pariksha aur bohot acche se huyi" Anupriya said with a smiling.
"Haan Malharji exams genuinely acche gaye. Atleast main toh answer karke satisfied hu"
"Wahi zaroori hain Kalyani. Tumne aur aai ne kitna padha wo agar exam mein use karke answer kar payi ho then exams bohot acche gaye!"
Kalyani came home and Moksh came running instantly. Kalyani picked Moksh up and swirled him around which made the mother son duo giggle their hearts out.
"Tu ruk pillu main kapde badalke aati hu"
Kalyani left to her room followed by Malhar.
She came and stood in front of the mirror to remove her watch and open her ponytail. Malhar just came and started dancing after taking her hand in his all of a sudden which made her startled.
"Kalyani Kalyani Kalyani!!! Finally tumhare exams khatam ho gaye! Kuch dinon mein tum graduate ban jaogi!"
"Agar fail ho gayi to?" Kalyani said showing her tongue
"Meri Kalyani kabhi fail nehi hoti. Aur hogi toh main sambhal loonga"
"Par Abhi sambhalne ki zaroorat nehi hain! Chodiye mujhe!!"
"Nehi! Main kyun chodhu? Exams khatam. Ab bas Main tum aur..."
"Aur?" She said nearing her face.
"Aur romance" he said kissing her nose.
"Arreh exams khatam to kya hum aise hi romance karte rahe? Aur kuch na karu main?"
"Kitne armaan thhe mere ki tumhare exams ke baad kitna kuch karenge hum"
Kalyani looked at him with wide open as she herself got red and he stumbled
"Arreh wo matlab nehi tha yaar mera"
"To kya matlab tha?" Kalyani said turning to the other side.
Malhar now hugged her back and said near her ears
"Mann tha ki hum teeno kahin aaram se ghumne jayenge, kuch pal ek doosre saath bitayenge. Inn jhanjhaton se dur kahin, sukoon ke do pal bitayenge. Bas tum main aur Moksh."
"Ye toh bohot accha idea hain!" Kalyani said excitedly.
"Par....par abhi ye nehi ho sakhta."
"Kyun?" Kalyani asked sadly.
"Wo Kalyani kuch din pehle hi chhutti li thi toh abhi police station mein bohot kaam hain. Abhi firse leave nehi le sakhta" Malhar said meekily knowing that his wife is going to scold him nicely.
"Kitni baar mana kiya tha aapko ki Mere exams ke wajah se aap chhutti Mat lijiye par nehi! Meri baat sunke kahan hain. Do din nehi jaati college to kya hota. Aap khamakha ghar pe rehke pillu ka dhyaan rakh rahe thhe aur main college jaake bechaen ho rahi thi."
"Ab tab spontaneously yehi dimaag mein aaya ki main ghar se kaam kar leta hu. Ab sochke kya hi faayda. Agle do teen hafton mein toh kahin trip possible hogi hi nehi." Malhar said sadly.
But his words about spending time stayed with her. She knew how much he has waited for her, for her other responsibilities to get fulfilled, for her to complete her studies. She herself couldn't wait anymore to become his in this aspect too.
Moksh came looking for his parents and the conversation got shelved as Malhar had to leave for station right away but kalyani had different plans.
Kalyani spent time with moksh for the whole day and planned everything. She texted Malhar to come home earlier if possible and asked him to directly meet her at the terrace.
Malhar wondered what might the reason be and expected it to be something special- what they have been waiting for.
Malhar silently goes to the terrace straight and saw a little tent type of set up with some cushions and two bowls kept there.
Malhar smiled and saw Kalyani coming towards him carrying her gentle love in those beautiful eyes.
They intertwined their hands after an eye lock. Malhar knew for the 1000th time that she is literally the best and to stop loving her is probably the last thing he can do.
They didn't exchange any words but were feeling content because of the cosy time they are getting to spend together.
They sat in the tent facing each other and Malhar found that the bowls had fried rice in them.
Kalyani looked sideways
"Wo itni jaldi aur kya banati main... upar se khana aapko aai ke haat ka pasand hain"
Malhar held her chin and made her look at him.
"Aai accha khana banati zaroor hain par tumhare haat ke khane ke saamne iss duniya ka koyi bhi khana mere liye feeka hain. Aur tum accha khana nehi banati ye kisne kaha?! Meri biwi aur aai dono hi masterchef hain." Malhar said and showed his smile which can melt Kalyani literally anytime. They fed each other with affection and spoke about everything lovely.
"Thank you Kalyani for this beautiful surprise Kalyani. I loved it!!!"
Malhar kissed her knuckles as they finished their dinner. The little lights, cold breeze, cosy set up everything was just making them both sway in the rydhm of love.
"Is it actually the day?!"
"Kya unke itne dinon ka INTEZAAR aaj khatam ho jane wala hain?"
Their hearts raced fast.
Their eyes spoke everything on their behalf and he just carried her to their room.
Their lips were inches apart when he spoke.
"Kalyani are we ready for it? I mean..."
It was a mere whisper which came like a beautiful wave to her soul.
She said yes slowly which gave both of them tornado of emotions and it was all that Malhar needed at this moment.
The kiss which started got more passionate with each passing second as they were responding with equal love and longing for each other.
They broke the kiss for a second and he could only murmur
"I love you Kalyani I love you so much"
"I love you too Malharji" and they got indulged again.
Kalyani was dominating and his hands were going all around following no rules.
They broke the kiss in a few minutes when his mouth automatically travelled to her neck to mark it as his.
Her hands started unbuttoning his shirt and she also started showing all her love to him.
Malhar was turned on just by seeing her confident and equally passionate about their love making. They have got more comfortable than ever with each other in last years. Their marriage didn't take place in a situation where things could go this smoothly. They took their own time to realise their love and they became inseparable. Now they have found their home in each other. Living without each other is nothing but one of the biggest tortures for them.
This is what they wanted before consummating their marriage. This much love, understanding, respect and emotional attachment for each other. Now they can not imagine anyone else exept each other as their other half.
The night got marked as they conquered another volume of love feeling each other till the deepest core of their hearts.
