Opening scene describes a lot

Yesterday's opening scene somewhere shows the dynamics of Maurya family.

Whether its shyamlal's naivety or foolishness, who is oblivious of world's way, thanks to this nature he didn't able to handle the business, hence got the tag of "failure".

Whether its Deepu, whos outburst over shyamlal was right somewhere. Due to Shyamlal's inability to handle money or business, family has to suffer. This may be the reason Deepu is like this-opportunistic, street smart, practical, little bit selfish as he know this is the only way to survive in today's times.

The anger of kanak over Deepu despite knowing that this time its Shyamlal's mistake reflect her dismay with deepu, that he never helps and choose himself over the family.

I think manu is amalgamation of all the maurya's.

Regarding Kanak, I feel because Deepu didn't open up about his investment into Manu's business somewhere, the bridges were burned. I think Deepu thought that the family would think about his sacrifice but they presumed because of his past history of being distanced from the family matters, it did sorta burn the bridges therefore his sudden outburst over his father's actions.

I feel Urmila has some shady history tabhi Kanak & her husband detest her & Urmila might be using Shyamlal to her advantage.
