NB isn't SP's favorite bahu. In fact, I don't think channel has any special interest in their offscreen jodi. Channel might not be interfering with the unfairness going on in the show because it is TRP topper. Other than that NB and his wife isn't that special that channel will go out of the way to make them win.

SP have more concern for Ayesha..she mentioned SP in her iv..how they supported her in covid time and while she was back to work...they know she is the weak point of audience...who know SP is making a way for new ML...
