I think they feel that is the only way they can justify the character from becoming completely negative. They do not know how to deal with multiple complex characters, so they seem to have dropped to ball big time on Malini's character. That is why to justify their stance, they would prefer to show her in the whitewashed version they are doing right now and have convinced the cast to maintain the same stance.
I cannot think of any other reason for GM to say something like this otherwise, as he is usually a very straight shooter.
Yeah, he's towing the PR line, fair enough.....
But still feels contradictory cuz the rest of the IV is all about him claiming how they are trying to show realistic content in the show and people who appreciate literature will appreciate this approach of showing flawed human beings who make mistakes and then acknowledge their mistakes........so where does all the "realism" go when it comes to Malini's character? Does GM have any answer for that? 😆......Guess not....he will conveniently deflect if he's ever asked also.
The rest of them can enjoy being multi-dimensional flawed people in the story, and Didi can stay in her seperate category of "perfect Goddess".....that is what he seems to be saying😆.....that they are all happy being paapis who are not worthy of the Didi brand of "perfection".....🤣
