Otherwise a lot of what he said WRT working on TV or how people are perceiving his character is so true and it is great that he called that out. Will the haters understand - nope, that will not happen, but it is good that he sticks to Adi's characterization and does want to compromise on that in anyway.

Well he said that Malini's character does nit exist in real life - so that part was true. But yes he also called her perfect and akin to a godess, so there he went a little off script😆
But I agree, looks like this delusion stems from the entire cast and crew, which is funny because GM bhar bhar ke DD ko apne Insta pe troll karta hai, so maybe this is more of a public level stand that he takes for Malini's character

No idea what he means with all his random trolling of Didi on insta but yeah otherwise everyone in the cast/crew sticks to this sanitized PR answer about how Malini is a Goddess and oh so perfect.
It just feels more ironic coming from him cuz he otherwise projects the image of a straight shooter....but even he is too scared to acknowledge the reality of Malini's character.....or he's just as delusional as the rest of them....take your pick.....lol .....but yeah if he's part of the brigade that can neither see nor acknowledge Malini's MANY flaws as a character then that explains why the show's story continues to remain in this pathetic zone😆

I think they feel that is the only way they can justify the character from becoming completely negative. They do not know how to deal with multiple complex characters, so they seem to have dropped to ball big time on Malini's character. That is why to justify their stance, they would prefer to show her in the whitewashed version they are doing right now and have convinced the cast to maintain the same stance.
I cannot think of any other reason for GM to say something like this otherwise, as he is usually a very straight shooter.
