The episode begins with emotional scenes between Anupama and Shah family as they take her home. Anu is shocked n worried about her bandaged hands . She wants the bandages removed but Samar, Toshu n Vanraj insists they remain in place as her hands were burnt in the fire .
Anupama enumerates all the household chores that needed both had hands n is worried how she would be able to complete them without both her hands . She is sternly warned to keep the bandages in position.
While she is leaving the medical room principal appreciates her efforts to rescue all the kids putting her own life at risk. Anu informs her that she had asked school administrators to provide induction stove but the refused n provided gas stove instead , principal looks guilty .she asks Anu not to speak to press about the school authorities slip up . Anu fails to get the point .
At Shah house Anupama is surprised when Baa praises her for rescuing all the kids and she offers to help,out with the housework. Baa hugs Anu lovingly. Anupama feels guilty but then accepts her fate .
Van and Babuji discuss how the principal was trying to accuses Anupama for the inside the n wash off their hands from being responsible for the accident .
principal visits Shah house n Anupama narrates all the faults of the admin. Even the fire extinguishers were not working. Anupama is shocked n comp,ains to the principal against the admins . Principal accuses Anupama for the accident , she asks Anu to accept her fault as this is what the school trustees wanted to hear . If Anupama wanted her daughter’s future at school secure and her job at school secure she had to accept the blame n give the same in writing . Shah family is shocked and so is Anupama .
Vanraj accuses Principal that they were using Anupama as a pawn to pass off the blame for their own mistakes . Principal states this is decision if school administration.
She offers Anupama leave for a month n double salary if she accepted . Anupama declines the bribe and insists on speaking the truth .
Baa taunts Anupama for putting her own daughter’s future at stake , accept the extra salary and not protest at every point in her life . She better accept the suggestions by school administrations and keep her job n Pakhi’s school seat intact . Samar protests against accepting the blame when she was not at fault alone . Baa and the family have argument on the matter ,
Anupama is in dilemma . She does not want to do what her mind n heart was going against.

Vanraj gets a paper n asks Anupama to sign a document and take blame otherwise Pakhi’s nfuture will be at stake at school . If she could not sign she could put her thumb impression . How could she care for so many kids yet nit bother about her own kid’s future ?? pakhi over hears this n is stunned , she forcibly puts Anupamaa’s thumb impressions on the document , Anupama is saddened .
