The episode begins with Anupama seeking the blessings of Baa Babuji and Mamaji for her success in acquiring the job she had applied for. She happily tells everyone that for the first time in her life she has got the chance to move ahead .
Babuji n Mama ji and the family share her happiness, but baa remains her usual self n lashes out with her sharp tongue. Baa taunts Anu about the housework, discourages her to work, Anu is disappointed but remains quiet . Kinjal feels bad for Anu n asks Baa to encourage her n not try to pull her back . Baa and Kinjal have an argument . Even though Baa is being unreasonable and Kinjal was right, Anu asks Kinjal to stop arguing .
She explains to baa in a mature manner that just like the new situation which arose suddenly in their house because of Vanraj and they all adjusted very well. Similarly her working at school was a new situation which everyone would adjust to very soon. They had to as getting a job was the need of the hour. All agree they would help out with housework n support Anupama . All agree to do their bit n pitch in. Baa remains doubtful. Kinjal assures she will help. Anu considers Kinjal lucky girl whose stepping into the house was auspicious because Anu got the job. Anu showers affection over Kinjal n Pakhi feels jealous.
At their house VanYa have an argument over Vanraj spending for KinTos wedding . Vanraj feels it was his duty towards his son, but she argues he was not in a position to spend , they needed his savings for VanYa future. Specially when Vanraj’s job was at stake. Van retorts that if he lost this job he would soon find himself. Anew one . Kavya taunts him for his over confidence. They have a face off.
At Shah house Kinjal is trying to help Anu in kitchen but Anu realises she knew very little and was not of much help at all, she affectionately asks her to leave it . As she showers her affections over her bahu Daughter Pakhi feel jealous that her mother was neglecting her n but showering affections over Kinjal .
Pakhi feels her dad had never ignored her in this manner . Pakhi expresses her wish to live with papa for the day when he came to visit them today evening .,Anu does not stop the girl from visiting her father but asks her to go in the morning n return by evening, at a later date. Thisnis because Kavya’s house had only one bedroom n they might face problem adjusting Pakhi in their room. But Pakhi is very optimistic n is sure VanYa would be ready to adjust with her, Anu remains skeptical.
At office Vanraj and Kavya are seen attending a board meeting where the previous CEO informs everyone about company mergers and their new CEO would be Mr Vishal Sharma .
Vanraj is fidgety and accidentally spills water on his file , the CEO notices but ignores it . Vanraj gets angry as Kavya is asked to introduce new CEO to all members n make him feel at home.
Kavya feels embarrassed about his clumsiness. Soon the new CEO mr Bishal Sharma walks in n he is introduced and received with clapping by everyone . Mr Bishal Sharma notices Banraj was busy mopping up spilled water with a tissue .
He introduces himself n announces his future plans. He asks his officers to ask him any Qs . All remain quiet except Vanraj who expresses his disagreement on the issue of giving him a notice to fulfill the company losses. He had given excellent services to this office for the past 30 yrs , they should consider that too. New CEO agrees that in the past Vanraj had given excellent services but recently he had slacked in his performances and moreover instead of taking it as a challenge to meet the demands company had placed on him , like an enthusiastic worker, he was complaining.
CEO gives him warning .
At Shah house , baa is seen preparing a long list. Mama ji wonders what it was about .
in the evening the Shah family and Vanraj wait for the arrival of Rakhi n Pramod to discuss KinTos wedding . It gets late and all wonder of Rakhi had stood them up . Baa does not lose a chance to taunt Kinjal over Rakhi’s behaviour .
The time for visiting was 8 PM but it was already past 1030 PM now . Right then Rakhi n Paramod enter with loud apologies for getting late , they make an excuse of getting stuck at their CEO’s place .
Soon the wedding discussions start. Before any one can say anything Baa go es Rakhi a loooong list of muhurat, Pandit ji, all rites n rituals to be followed, what samagri required , guest list, caterers etc etc . Muhurat was after two days . all are stunned . Rakhi exclaims the list was in Gujarati , she could not read Guj , baa exclaims she was a shame on Gujraties . She orders her tk get it read by a literate person. Rakhi expresses dissent, Baa silences her by her bossy authority that they being larkey waaley would decide what when where etc not larki waaley.

Mama ji reads the news papers which mentions Toshu , the Son In Law of Pramod n Rakhi will be the new MD of the Dave Coaching center.
Toshu says that if they think he could manage the work better what’s the hassle in working there ??
Vanraj feels that Rakhi failed to win the support of her own daughter, so now she was trapping Toshu.
