The episode begins with Baa sitting on the swing, taunting n scolding Kinjal, the girl retorts back, this infuriates Baa even more, she reminds that it was her right to taunt n scold her bahu’s 24*7 and no bahu dare retort back , she was the MIL of her MIL declares Baa angrily at Kinjal. She scolds Anupama as well for spoiling her n not teaching her how to respect dadi Saas . Anupama supports Kinjal n Kinjal tries to take Anupamaa’s side . Baa taunts Saas bahu that they better stop mutually supporting eachother, Baa was above them both. Babuji tries to intervene but baa silences him by saying he should not interfere in ladies matters.
It was her right n duty on Baa’s part to taunt her bahus, saying this Baa stomps away.
Later Anu and Babuji calm n console an upset Kinjal that this was her first day, so she was feeling bad but she will soon get used to this .
Kinjal is upset in her room and Toshu is at a loss to understand what went wrong , who upset her. Kinjal weeps uncontrollably . Anupama arrives there n says when zanu came as a new bride she too was ta7nted by baa in this very manner. She too had cried very much , but there was none to wipe her tears . Kinjal is luckier she had Anu . Anu then advises her tk get used to this taunting , baa was a nice woman at heart and soon Kinjal would realise that relationships were so beautiful .
Anu then reminds Kinjal that today was her pag phere ki rasam n she better get ready and Anu would escort her to her mother’s place. If she did not look her best Rakhi Dave would taunt Anu and get angry at her. Kinjal is skeptical about meeting her mother after all the elopement n marriage. Anupama explains and persuades her that her mom Rakhi was left all alone after Kinjal’s marriage , she needed her daughter’s love n support, so Kinjal had to go n meet her . .
Kinjal smiles n agrees to get ready.
At office Vanraj is having a bad headache. Kavya arrives in a fit of fury n confronts him for ignoring her calls and not returning to her place all night . She accuses him of going to Anupama and staying there all night, that was the explanation of his clean clothes !!
Vanraj get angry at Kavya and pulls out a hotel room bill and the bill of the new clothes from the mall. He asks her to check for herself . Also he had tk go to his house as Toshu had eloped with Kinjal and they had got married without the consent of either families n Rakhi Dave had arrived at Shaha house with police .
he had to go . He asks Kavya not to shout at him as such he was having a bad headache .
Kavya is shocked not hear all this . She shows her concern and asks him to take medicines . Van says Rakhi would not sit quietly , she will trouble Shah family even more now , he feared she would snatch Toshu from the family .
Van gets a phone call from Baa which he ignores .
Later Baa informs Vanraj how Anupama had gone to Rakhi’s house Kinjal
At Dave house Kinjal is very scared of her mom n hides behind Anupama fearing her mother’s wrath. Pramod receives his daughter happily . But Rakhi stops Father n daughter . She then smiles n says she will not receive her daughter this way she will receive her with proper rasam .
kinjal is pleasantly surprised as Rakhi performs Aarti n Tilak n receives married daughter n her MIL. She seeks forgiveness for being rude to Shah family and apologises .Anupama forgives Rakhi happily .
Pramod disbelieves his wife n k as she has ulterior motives behind this changed behaviour .
