And mimoh was brought up in Ooty so i guess had no bollywood support.

I guess if he had been 10 year younger , he would have got a big debut.

Also luck I guess. We have Arjun Kapoor bagging multiple movies when in reality his dad didn't support much at the time of his debut I think...And then Abhishek whose father had connections to big banners but audience didn't accept him.

For that matter, Shraddha is lucky to have made a mark despite her father having a notorious reputation. 😆

Shakti Kapoor didn't care much for the family too..plus he had such a reputation that it was almost a stigma for shraddha..how did she gain entry ? Did her maternal side, the kolhapure's help? That wouldn't have been much either

Because Chunky cleaned the boots of Bollywood bigwigs. Govinda and Mithun have massive egos and won't stoop to such levels.

Plus, nepotism during the 2000s wasn't as bad. It wasn't in your face. After Karan established himself as a Kingmaker with Alia, things changed dramatically.

Even Salman has launched insiders, but he doesn't go out of his way to curate their careers, buy the media, and use PR propaganda to create an image for those products of nepotism.

Nepotism has gotten really bad since Alia. Prior to that, it was about chance. Today, it's about PR and hijacking other's opportunity.

True. But Mimoh was a non starter in that he had neither looks nor any screen presence. Narmada was better and she looked good, Salman was even ready to launch her but then fell out with Govinda so all their plans fell through

Mimoh with his ugly face and terrible acting had at least 5 movies. There is only so much Bollywood can give a star child before you become a burden

Bollywood has not supported many super star kids

Like dharmendras younger son and daughter

Like Shatrugan Sinhas sons

Like Dilip Kumar nephew

Like Jeetendras son

They only support those who bend backwards and lick boots of biggie production houses or super heroes like Salman

Some of them had talent many did not

What you require to become successful is not talent in bollywood - you have to let go ego and self respect and beg and do chamchagiri of producers/big super stars to get roles

Whoever does that succeeds whoever cannot flops

Next you have to know how to snatch roles or take credit of others work as yourself

Also if your movie earns 20 crore act like it made 200 crores lie and PR propoganda

If you do that you succeed

Acting skills is last thing required in bollywood to succeed

Networking and chamhagiri is very much required

Otherwise Salman, Saif, Akshay etc would never last 30 years if they had not done all this jugaad because all three had zero acting skills in 90s compared to a sunny deol, govinda, srk etc or flop people like rahul roy, akshaye khanna etc

Govinda and Mithun and many other actors kids do not know how to do all this so flopped

Thats why also quality of movies and music is so pathetic since 1990s only especially after 2000s
