Interesting prologue

Ek Kahani, Jo Adhuri Reh Jaati Hai...

( A story, which  remains Incomplete)

Chapter 1:-

'Coffee?' He asked, and forwarded her a mug.

' Thank you.' she smiled slightly.

' I don't know how to ask you or tell you, but I think you are going against your own wish agreeing to your family's wishes. Am I right?' 

He sat on a chair beside her.

Suman was astonished,' How do you know, Mr.Sighania ?' 

' Assume it as my ability to read thoughts.' he smiled.

Suman sighed.' You are right, Mr.Piyush. I am against my own wishes now.'

' Listen, Suman. Although I am no one to say this to you, but still, I am saying this. Listen to your heart, Suman. No one is forcing you to marry me. This is your own life, you have full rights to deny this marriage.'

' I don't know what to do. I am helpless. Because of me, my family was hurt years ago. I can't, just can't hurt my family again.' 

Her voice faltered.

' Suman, Marriage is not  just about about rituals. Marriage is not just about the holy fire, the Sindoor and the mangalsutra. Marriage is the union of hearts and beginning of a lifelong relationship, of staying beside eachother against all odds. If there is no union of hearts between husband and wife, the marriage is then meaning less.' said Piyush and looked out of the window.

' Marriage, Love, Hearts, etc. All became meaningless for me years ago, Mr.Piyush. I have a bitter past, with someone.'

' Why don't you bring him back in your life and confront your family? I am sure they will understand!'

' Kuchh Kahaniyan adhoori reh jaati hai, Piyush.( Some stories are left incomplete, Piyush.)'

 Piyush sighed.

' Piyush...Can I call you by your name?'

' Sure, Why not.'

' Your coffee is getting cold.' said Suman.

They sipped coffee together.

Many years passed since that fateful night.

Shravan Malhotra and Suman Tiwari went in seperate ways. Shravan moved to Delhi and continued his studies there. A few years later, his family shifted to Delhi, from Bhopal. Since then, the Malhotra's and the Tiwari's have no contact with each other. They could have got contact of each other easily, but didn't, because of their two children, Shravan and Suman.

Anjali-' Suman, Piyush, tum dono ki baatein ho gyi ho toh dinner karne aa jao.'

( Suman, Piyush, if you have finished your talk, then come to have dinner.)

Piyush got up. ' Kya khushboo hai, Aunty! Mujhe toh bohot Bhook lagi hai.'

( What an Aroma, Aunty! I am very hungry now.)

Piyush sat on the left side of Suman while Kanchan sat on the right side.

Kanchan whispered to her,' What talk did you two had? Did you tell him about your past? How did he react? '

' Cool down. I will answer all your questions before sleeping. But till then, please keep quiet.'

Kanchan started playing with her food.

'Oh, Shravan! Where are you! Only you are needed here! Please come back! Please!' she thought.

' You said to him about that?'

' Yes. I told him about myself.'

' Suman, what do you want to do now?'

' Just relax for a a week, before returning to Dehradun.'

' I am serious, Suman!'

' And I am not joking, Kanchan!'

' What if you marry Piyush and Shravan returns? What will happen then?'

' I am sure he won't, Kanchan. I know him better than anyone else.'

Suman hurried into her room. 

' You are going to take a drastic step.' Kanchan sighed.

She closed the door and fell on the floor, crying.

'No one understands me. No one. My feelings...'

A message popped up on the phone.

' You promised to tell me the story.'

' Tomorrow.'

' This is the place. The sole witness of that day.'

Suman sat on the swing of the park and began her story,' First foes, then buddies, then friends and at last, lovers.'

She narrated almost everything to him, except Shravan's name and the reason of their separation.

' You know what, Miss Suman, you two are the true examples of true love. And I believe you two will meet again.'

' I don't know, Piyush.I have given up the hopes of his return. It has been nearly one and a half decade.'

' Miracles do happen.'

Miles away, in Delhi:-

A handsome man was seen doing workout on the treadmill.

' Do you have to keep training during holidays too, Shravan?'

' Yes, Mom. This keeps me stress free.'

' Papa!' a 4 year old girl came running.

Shravan picked her up.

' Oh my Baby...Did you sleep well? '

' Yes, Papa.'

The world changed for Shravan Malhotra. He is not the same carefree guy. He is now responsible. Life moulded him according to its choice. Even Bunty wouldn't recognise him now by his ways. He is now Major Shravan Malhotra, cold-hearted and ruthless.

' How many days will you be here?'

' A week more. Then I have to join Dehradun regiment as a new member.'

Precap:- Suman arrives in Dehradun to recieve two biggest shocks of her life. 

' I hate you, Suman!'

Sorry for such a short chapter. Facing writer's block, I guess. Next chapter will be long, I promise.

Wow loved it Mishti! Suman is engaged but the guy seems pretty nice. I was pretty shocked that Shravan has daughter??? Did he end up with someone else? Also if he parted from Suman due to personality differences then why does he hate her? I thought the break up was mutual. I bet these will be answered in future chapters and I’m getting ahead of myself lol wonderfully written! Will wait for the next update!

and he is also good guy, he is hoping that SuVan will meet again

Shravan is major now

but who called him papa?

Chapter 2:-

' Papa, can I come with you to Dehradun?'

' Why?'

' I want to stay with you.'

' Beta, that isn't possible! You know na Papa is in the army?'

' I want to join army too!'

Shravan smiled.

' Bilkul Apne Papa ki tarah hai.' Avni said and smiled.

' Aapko milky peeni hai na Ruhi? Chalo...'

Shravan looked at the retreating figure of the women and sighed.

Fate! He now hates the person the most who was his first love.

'No, no! Don't think of her, Shravan! You have many important matters to think of!'

Ruhi, Shravan's daughter is the only reason of his happiness. Although Shravan was married to her mother, Kankana under certain circumstances, he started falling for her. But Alas, fate had planned his seperation from his loved ones again, and he lost her, just after their little angel came in this world. Since then, he changed. The littlest respect of his towards love changed. 

He wanted to move on in life, they why did God again did this? Why?

' So, friends?' Piyush forwarded his hand.

' Yes, friends.' she smiled and clasped his hand.

' I don't know what is in store for us in future, I don't if we marry or not, but can I hope that we will be friends?'

' Sure. Forever!'

After many years, she found someone trustworthy.  Someone reliable. She just hoped that this friendship lasts, lifelong, inspite of any circumstances.

Two weeks later:-

' Major Piyush Singhania.'

' Major Shravan Malhotra.'

The two new majors in Dehradun regiment Shaked hands. 

The Colonel smiled and said,' Welcome to Dehradun, Major Singhania and Major Malhotra. I am glad to have such efficient members in my team.'

' Thanks, Sir.'

' I hope you two will love to work with eachother. You can take rest or view the regiment today. You will get to duty tomorrow, after another member, the third and last  in your team of three joins.'

' Yes, Sir!'

' So, Shravan,huh? We met after such a long time!' Piyush said.

' Yes, 10 long years! I must say, our days in the NDA were the best days.' 

They sat on the grass and watched the commotion in the camp.

' It feels good to meet old buddies.'

' Yaar, you behaved so formal in front of the Colonel. Old habits die hard! You haven't changed.' said Shravan.

' But you changed. A lot.' siad Piyush and side hugged him.

' Life has moulded me in its ways. Circumstances were such...'

' Let's leave it. Tell me, how is Aunty and how's uncle? All good?'

' Yes, all good.' He didn't tell him about his wife, her demise and his little angel. He thought, ' He didn't ask, so why will I say it myself?'

' Oh. The universe was so small, na? We met again.' Piyush sighed. 

' So, what about you? Found the woman of your dreams?'

' Found, be she won't be mine.' said Piyush as Suman's face flashed in front of his eyes.

' Huh?'

' Leave it. Lets take a round.'

The two buddies went for a round.

' 55...56...57...' 

' 58..59..60...'

The two were engrossed in a competition of the number of pushups. 

' You have improved a lot, Piyush.'

' You too, Shravan.'

Commotion was going on into the regiment early in the morning.

Suman entered the regiment.

She was suprised to see the commotion going on in the regiment.

She asked one,' What's going on?'

' Two new majors have joined. Hayeeee. They are so hot!'

Suman giggled.

She came in the camp and nearly crashed into someone.

' Whoa! Are you okay?'

She was dumbfounded when she looked up to see the man.

' PIYUSH!!! Tum?'

' Yes, Me. Major Piyush Singhania.' he smiled. It didn't look as if he was surprised. But poor Suman, she was. 

' Don't tell me you the new major?'

' I am.'

' Huh?' Suman smiled.' I am feeling awkward. Looks like I am yet to get surprises.'

You haven't received the surprise yet, Suman.

' Let's have our official introduction!' he chuckled.

' Captain Tiwari. Nice to meet you.'

' Major Singhania. Same here.'

A fellow came and said,' Major, captain, Colonel is calling you.'

' Let's go, Suman.'

Others wondered that how these two know each other.

Piyush entered, followed by Suman.

' Captain Tiwari, come in. Meet your new colleagues, Major Singhania and Major Malhotra.'

The man who was already there turned towards her.

She recieved the biggest shock of her life. Shravan! Her Shravan! Her long lost...

For her, the earth under her feet moved. Before her, stood her past and her future. One was her first love and last love till date and the other one her future. She got lost in an inner turmoil. Shravan was no less shocked. He looked as if he had seen a ghost. Colour was drained from both of their faces. Shravan's breath hitched in his throat.

Colonel- 'Major Piyush  Singhania and Major  Shravan Malhotra, meet Captain  Suman Tiwari. One of the most trustworthy and efficient member of our team.'

Tears pooled in Suman's eyes. She expected the same reaction from him too, but dhe was surprised, rather shocked to see his cold face.

A current passed through her when she clasped his hand for a handshake.
