He (Shatrajit) went back to his home, and there he decided to offer Lord Krishna not only the jewel but also his three daughters Satyabhama, Vratini and Prasvapini so as to atone for the offense he had committed against the Lord's lotus feet. Sri Krishna accepted the hand of Satrajit's daughters, Satyabhama, who was endowed with all divine qualities, Vratini of firm vows and Prasvapini. But the jewel He refused, returning it to King Satrajit.

Holy moly what is this ??? I've never heard about Vratini & Prasvapini.😲

That is probably why all the pandavas and draupadi avoided callimg him Krishna.

Yudi called his Vaasudeva.

Bheem called him Madhava.

Arjun and Draupadi called him Keshava.

Nakul and Sahadev I dont remember exactly but they did switch between the above three.

(Probably because they did not have to call Arjun by his name so it wasnt that awkward)

Also this is why Krishna prefers Partha and Arjun's other names too!

Bet they'll come back with Subhi! ðŸ˜‰

Nevertheless he must have been a supportive father to his charismatic daughter. Only women with an aristocratic/noble/royal background were given the lessons on warfare skills back in those days i guess.

Satrajit did something related to the treasory. Also he was a part of the democratic peoples' council of Dwarika. Krishna and Balaram represented the royal family there and yes Dwarika was a democracy.

Ps I do not think she was taught warfare. There is a stpry about her badgering Krishna to teach her so...

Neither have I sister. Probably part of some other version of SB or a folklore.

I always believed that part of bhama's arrpgance was due to the fact that she was an only child.

Virat Yuddha was my most favourite. Funniest.

Arjun running behind Uttar with swaying choti.

Uttar not believing him and asking about his 10 names and their meanings.

I can not remember but Arjun was also named Vishnu , right?
