With Valentines around the corner….
November which kills me as I tend to remember dude’s blast day more than the historical iron lady’s birthday though dude’s is a fiction.
Likewise February brings loads of tears when the most lovable day 14th turned into the most dreadful day for all MeeJayians… the beautiful rose was made to whither again….RagKor journey was brutally curtailed…
With constant push of Niki, they blossomed in my ficfam, in our thoughts and I raked again on to write this as a special birthday gift to Niki and Smita for they celebrated their birthday with lovely VMs and edits and posts from those talented ones on insta and twitter while I just wished them from my heart…

At the mansion…
Chakor was packing Raaghav’s suitcase for a two day visit to Srilanka as he had been invited by the Tea Board as an honorary guest to inaugurate their elite members new Tea plantations. With much hesitation and at the compulsion of Chakor he accepted with no heart to leave his Queen and his prince and the princesses. Just two days Raaghav she said… he sighed saying on your words I am going but it would have been nice if you could travel with me.
Hmm even I too would have loved but what to do kids and their schools, she said, smiling hiding her pain too.. they have come a long way that even a day’s separation makes their heart feel heavy. The roses were upset as they cant sleep without kissing their dadda but when Arjun explained to them they were quiet and were on to their bros shoulders whining good bye.
It was a night flight and after seeing him off they were returning to the Mansion…Arjun was awake while the rest dozed off in the car. Mumma and the son had some heart to heart talk about the upcoming 10th Board exams and also about feelings for one and also the importance of friend while Arjun was generally talking about Riya when Chakor unknowingly had a blob of tear thinking about her childhood friend Vivaan and how his life turned out… Arjun the teen was too matured for his age and spoke how one should value relationship. Chakor was all smiles and felt so proud of him and said you are a blessing in our life. He kissed her forehead and said mumma you and daddy are and you are an university by yourself and I learn a lot from you every day..
While driving back they saw late night trucks loaded with red roses and were wondering why suddenly there are so much roses when they saw few hotels putting up decorative lightings. They reached the mansion and placed the roses in their rooms and retired to their beds. An unknown feeling … she was in the balcony looking at the moon when she saw his face there…. She held her locket and fell asleep in the diwan.
The first day passed with a video call with him where the kids kissed him and asked him to buy cinnamon cakes from Srilanka when Arjun specifically asked him check about few universities too and Aa enquired about his visit.

It was the second day when he had a quick video call and set off for that day’s visit and had to fly back the next day morning… He was missing her terribly which was evident in his call with her…
Chakor was at the Welfare Office and was driving to pick the kids from school when she not having the date in mind said what’s this now that the town is gearing up for.
The kids called her asking her to come to Mansion as the school worked only half day and that they have been brought home by Ramu Kaaka along with the Mansion driver.
She was surprised at the same time suddenly looked at the dashboard clock when she realised the date, February 14… she reached the Mansion…with so many memories she walked up to the family room when the roses closed her eyes from behind…
Oops she said what’s it…. Her hands were extended and she was made to hold a bouquet of red roses…. We Love You Mummaaa shouted Aayansh and Arjun… the roses kissed her cheeks when she was spellbound in emotions,tears running down… Aayansh kissed her eyes while Arjun was holding her hands.
Whats this her eyes were in full of surprise…
The roses jumped saying Mumma Happy Valentine’s Day….Aaawwwhhh my roses do you know what this day is…. She cursed herself for forgetting the same and felt heavy and missing Raaghav…. But was smiling at those hearts which were filled with love all four kneeling before her. Aditi said yes mummaa Arjun bhai said that the most loved and respected relationship is celebrated this day and who can be our valentine other than you…We miss daddy they said. They tried to reach him but could not as he was in the day long visits and meetings. It was noon.
Shyaam laal called her to say that he was planning to take the kids on their monthly outing as he was missing them too much and also since the school was closed half. She couldnot refute though she would feel terribly lonely without Raaghav and the kids. Kaaka spoke to Arjun.

Srilanka
The beautiful country has its treasured history in the various epics. The people were full of love and friendliness and the nature was full of greenery flavouring with its spices.
He was revered with respects and love, needless to mention was awed at his personality too. Dude was dressed in his best for the special day in his dashing Red Tuxedo and white shirt which Chakor had packed for him. He did not have any time to look at his phone as he was in back to back meetings and going around sharing his experience and also inaugurating many plantations.
He was in his business luncheon when he saw the missed calls, but before he could revert he was escorted for the next lined up events.
It was late evening and he called it a day. He had a flight to catch the next day morning. He was going around the elite hotel where he was staying, which had a special bay exclusively decorated with balloons, roses and heart shaped posters everywhere… Surprised when he was told it was February 14th a tinge in his heart. The steward told him that to commemorate the special day, every guests sit-out would be decorated for a personal special dinner. He said he would not need as he was alone but the steward left by then as he got another call.
He was still in his Tux when he went to his room trying to call Chakor but her phone was switched off. He called Arjun and found that the kids were staying with kaaka..
He walked to his sit-out which was decorated beautifully with a table for two. A champagne with a heart shape red velvet cake, a hamper with chocolates and roses and two plates kept for dinner.…
He took the rose and sat in the chair looking up to the moon… it was beautiful… he closed his eyes with a tinge of tear.. resting his head back… thoughts were over powering him.
15 years back this day he parted her on her words….
This day the moon faded in his life
This day he thought he lost his valentine
But ………. The valiance in him made him valiant to just trust in his love and loved her being far away…
That valiance brought back his love to him after 10 long years.
Valentine day did pass through the earlier years they were together but they never celebrated with the kids around and their life was so full…
But ….suddenly he felt a vacuum today…
Wish you were with me Chakor……..
Knock Knock…………….
Without turning he opened the door with his remote looking at the moon….
You can leave the dinner please, I will not require it anyway but still.
No response the door latched.
He took his phone which had his family pic as the wall paper…
He kissed her picture..
Chakorr I should not have come….his voice was shimmering….
Wish I could hold you and look into your beautiful eyes and say those words…
He was about to dial her No.
Very softly his cheeks was held from behind….
Head was tilted back….
A kiss on his forehead…
Going down a soft peck on his eyes, nose and lips…
Looking into those mesmerizing eyes which was tearing…..
SHE said Happy Valentine’s day Raaghav I LOVE YOU…..
He froze……… couldn’t believe…………….
With mouth wide open he was staring at the face which was looking at him upside down.
She came to the front sat on his lap garlanding his neck.
Smiling with tears… she pinched his nose….
Ouch he shrugged… You are not dreaming she said….
She went into his chest… overflowing of emotions they stayed together closing their eyes, cherishing the moment.
I am in front of you, holding you, looking into your eyes wouldn’t you say…..
He very preciously held her cheeks kissed on her forehead which was bright with her sindoor… lifting slightly he kissed her eyes and tilted her and closed her lips very passionately, kissing her spelling those three magical words
I LOVE YOU …. LOVE YOU Chakor.. They don’t need a special Kiss day!
She hugged him with all love…..they don’t need a special hug day……….
She stood up and lighted the musical candles which were on the table…
They swayed together to the music while the breeze was blowing.
Rowdy You are looking handsome she said…. Garlanding him while he was holding her waist…
She was in her red flowing gown which was strapless hugging her precious assets with just that beautiful Mangalsutra with the locket of C and R accompanied by the diamond danglers in her ears. She was ravishing, luscious…
And you look so beautiful and sexy my Birdie he said crushing her into him.
I love you ……………..but before he could ask a question smiling at him,she took the chocolate from the hamper and put it in his mouth when he slowly kissed her invoking the delicious chocolate day…They don’t need a special chocolate day!.
Relishing the chocolate and her lips….…. His eyes were questioning while his hands was drawing patterns on her bare low back…

Kaaka spoke to Arjun who told him that they had a small happy valentine day celebration at home but missed dadda…
That line sparked Kaaka as he knows that day’s importance in Raaghav’s life as he used to sit beneath her pic on that day without eating anything during those ten years of his penace. He called Chakor and told her to get ready quickly and go to the airport while he was organizing her tickets to Colombo and being a celebrity and world renowned coach she got her visa in seconds. Surprised and at the same time with happiness overflowing, the birdie was thanking their god father with all her heart and flew to meet her valentine….though the kids were not told about it.

And here I am with you she said….. they called kaaka to thank him. He in turn blessed them with all his heart for he knew the valiance of them so indeed the best valentine for each other..
Wiping his tears she said … So….my rustic rowdy was crying like a baby…
Oh! only me!!! he pulled her closer squeezing her waist raising her up, wasn’t my birdie in tears missing me which made kaaka to fly you down here.
Mmm no !! haaannn yes I missed you she went into his chest shy!!! I too missed you he did not shy to accept..
I love you Chakor and I promise you again ……………yes Raghav I too promise you……. For we shall live together and die together…… do they need a special Promise day!!! Their life is twined every second, every minute, every hour with that Promise which they live on everyday.
I love you they said to each other looking into their eyes….lifting her chin he said and with you beside me everyday is valentine’s day…. Holding her closer they lighted all the candles and he gave her the rose bouquet, fed each other.
Her ravishing dress was making him go crazy…..
Raaghav we need to get to bed fast she said!!! Eyes full of brightness he said not that I refuse…
Chup budda we have an early morning flight to catch when his phone brightened with a message from the airlines saying the flight is delayed by two hours followed by another message which was from kaaka saying he will bring the kids by evening.
Oh no she said…
The rowdy whistled winking pulling the quilt ….. Hail the airlines….two more hours…
Noooo
Yessss……………….
But…. She said as he was taking over her not that she could resist the handsome dude who was taking her in his style…………..
Yes ……………everything is there in the valentine’s kit he said taking her lips…she sublimed holding his nape while the moon was turning red witnessing their pure love and twining of the two souls blossming in their love...........
Mmmmmm …………. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

True... valentine need not be only the spouse, every cherished relation is valued and loved more and more.
Everyday is a valentine day…as expressing love need no specific day…
A hug, a kiss, the sweetness like a chocolate does not limit to a particular day, for love is by itself is a promise made by two hearts who twine the souls together everyday.
