It is inspired by the Malayalam movie ‘Beautiful’.But I have changed the story.

Introduction:

Abhi was a part of his paralysed friend Purab.Purab existed because of his deep friendship with Abhi.Abhi’s music was soothing for him.Purab was happy in his own world with his friend Abhi.He was not a weak person who cried through out thinking of his ill health.He believed in enjoying every bit of his life in a funny manner.Purab,the Multi Millionaire could not enjoy his wealth because of his lifeless body.He knew that he was surrounded by his relatives who were his enemies actually.They were his mercy less blood suckers who pretended to be sweet only for his wealth.He knew that at any time they could kill him for that.He knew that if he could trust any of his relatives that was only Dev;his cousin.

Abhi was in his own little world which was decorated with Purab’s friendship and his music.

Prologue:

A beautiful blue pool….

A beautiful girl drowned in the pool.Her cry was snatching the beauty of the innocent water pool.Abhi jumped into the pool and carried her in his arms.

She looked at her savior with gratitude.

He placed her down.He stared at her.

“If you don’t know swimming why do you swim?”

“I came here with my friend to learn swimming.He got an urgent call and he left.That’s why…”

Before she could complete her sentence he left.

Another day….

The same girl sank in the sea.To her surprise this time also the same masculine hands saved her.Abhi.

She could’nt believe her eyes when he lifted her in his arms.

Abhi was irritated:You can’t even swim in a swimming pool.Then why did you try to swim in the sea?Are you mad?

She:Sorry…I was just wetting my legs.My leg slipped and I fell down.The waves carried me away.

Abhi:The next time onwards be careful.

She:Ok…and thanks for saving me twice.

Abhi:No mention.

He walked away.

Part 1

Abhi gave an advertisement in the news paper searching for a home nurse to look after Purab.

Purab:Till now no one has come.Everyone who came here to look after me left.Now no one is willing to come.

Purab talked in a jovial way.

Abhi smiled:Wait…some one will come.

It was raining….

Abhi stood at the verandah with Purab at the wheel chair.They were enjoying the beauty of the rain drops.

PURAB:Abhi,do you feel like composing a lovely song on rain?

ABHI:Ya…

Suddenly his eyes fell on a lady who was walking towards them.

She was a simple pretty lady draped in an ordinary saree.Her big black bindi was very attractive and striking.Her hair strands fell on her face carelessly. She was completely drenched in the rain.In her wet saree her beautiful figure was noticeable.

Abhi and that lady were surprised o see each other.

She:Sir…you?

ABHI:You?

Purab:Who is she?

ABHI:I have met her at beach and swimming pool.

She smiled:For him I am just a woman whom he has met at a few places.

She looked at Abhi and said:But for me he is my savior.

He saved my life twice when I drowned in the water.

Abhi smiled.

PURAB:Wow!That’s nice.

ABHI:Your name?

She:I am Pragya.

ABHI:I am Abhi.

PRAGYA:Sir…I came here for the job of a home nurse.

They were surprised.

ABHI:As a home nurse?I can’t believe it.First I met you somewhere.Now you reached here as a home nurse.What a coincidence!

She smiled.

ABHI:Have you worked anywhere?

PRAGYA:Ya…I have worked in an old age home.As a home nurse it’s going to be the first experience.

ABHI:Your family?

PRAGYA:I have a mother and a sister.Actually my mother was’nt happy about this job.She is scared whether I will be safe.But somehow I managed to get her permission.

PURAB:Are you not scared?

PRAGYA:A little bit.But now I am not.Abhi Sir is someone who saved my life and I am sure that he can’t trouble me.

PURAB:What about me?

She just smiled.

PURAB:Since I can’t move you don’t have to be scared of me.Right?

Pragya was embarrassed.

ABHI:Whenever I see you, you are wet.

Pragya smiled:Ya…I am fond of water.That’s why I was not worried about getting wt in the rain while coming here.

PURAB:But since you are a home nurse you can’t fall sick as you have to take care of a patient like me.So go change your wet saree.

She smiled.

She went and changed her saree.She wore a light green light violet Kameez.

Purab told Abhi:Pragya is really impressed with you.For her,you are her Savior.

Will it turn into love?

Purab had a naughty smile on his face.Abhi was shy.

Abhi went away.While passing by he saw Pragya drying her wet hair with a towel.

Her eyes met his.Slowly she smiled.

He was lost in her sweet mesmerizing smile.

Pragya came back to the room.

PURAB:By the way we need to test your capability.Only if we are satisfied we will appoint you.

Pragya’s face became dull.

PURAB:Get me a coffee please.

PRAGYA:Ok Sir.

Pragya made coffee for Purab and Abhi.They tasted it.

ABHI:Very nice.

Pragya was relieved.

PURAB:Very nice coffee.

PRAGYA:Thank you Sir.

ABHI:Stop calling us Sir.

PURAB:Yes,if you call us sir we won't appoint you.

She smiled:Ok Purab and Abhi.

They smiled.

PURAB:You are appointed Pragya.

Pragya was very happy.

PRAGYA:Thank you…thanks a lot.

Pragya took care of Purab very well.She fed him food.She gave him medicines on time.Abhi did’nt have to worry about Purab at all.He trusted her that much.Very soon Pragya became their good friend.

They went out..chatted together.Pragya’s way of relaxation and entertainment was making bubbles.

She entertained Purab and Abhi by making wonderful bubbles.

Pragya took them to the temple.The Idol of Goddess was decorated beautifully.But Abhi was lost in Pragya's beauty.

PRAGYA:Abhi,why are you looking at me?You pray.

Abhi was embarrassed:Sorry Pragya.I will pray.

Abhi closed his eyes and prayed.

Part 2

Pragya opened the pipe of her bath room.There was no water.She came to Abhi’s room.

PRAGYA:There is some problem with my bath room’s pipe.

ABHI:I will try to repair it.

He tried repairing it.But it was not working out.

ABHI:I think we should call someone else to repair it.

PRAGYA:Oh!But I want to bath.

ABHI:You use my bathroom.

Pragya was hesitant.

ABHI:Don’t be insecure.

PRAGYA:Ok.

Pragya got inside Abhi’s bathroom.The sound of the fall of water drops made Abhi feel that it was rain.Pragya was bathing in the rain for him.

After bath,with wet hair Pragya came out.Abhi was lost in her.While walking out,by mistake her shoulder rubbed his.Though they both were conscious about it,they both ignored it purposefully.

After a few days...

Abhi:Pragya…Purab’s birthday is coming up.We need to celebrate it.

PRAGYA:Wow!That’s so sweet.

Abhi handed over a cover to you.

ABHI:This is a party wear.Please wear this for the birthday celebration.

PRAGYA:But what was the need of buying this salwar Kameez?

ABHI:For my happiness.

She smiled.

Pragya wore the party wear for the birthday celebration.Abhi could not take his eyes off her.

ABHI:Thank you so much for wearing this Pragya.

PRAGYA:I need to thank you for giving me such a beautiful gift.

ABHI:You look gorgeous.

She blushed:Thank you Abhi.

Abhi and Pragya brought Purab to the celebration room.

Abhi held Purab’s hand and cut the birthday cake.Abhi and Pragya sang the birthday song.Abhi fed him cake.

PURAB:Thank you so much for making my birthday special.Friends like you both proved that my birth was something to be happy about.

ABHI:Hey Purab…

They both laughed.

Pragya smiled seeing their friendship.

After the party…

Purab went to sleep.

It was raining.Pragya went out in the rain.She felt being wet in the rain.

Abhi went out and watched that beautiful sight.Because he loved Pragya in rain.For him she was a rain beauty.

Pragya felt that her pain was melting in the rain drops.Abhi’s eyes caressed her slowly.

He wished to dance with his rain beauty in the rain.He dreamt of dancing slowly with her in the rain.

Pragya saw Abhi observing her.

PRAGYA:Abhi….you…here?

ABHI:Simply.

PRAGYA:Good night.

ABHI:Good night.

She went inside.

Abhi took his guitar and the music started flowing automatically.

Purab was happy to listen to Abhi’s new composition on Rain.

PURAB:When you saw Pragya, rainy music occupied your heart very fast.

Abhi smiled:Purab…when I saw Pragya walking in the rain…I can’t explain that…I feel she made rain more beautiful by her presence.I have never felt the rain so beautiful and magical before.

Purab smiled:Arre yaar…are you falling in love?

Abhi was shy.

PURAB:Then don’t delay.Go confess your love.She will accept your love.She cannot reject her savior.Because she knows that she will be always secure in her savior’s hands.

Abhi’s face blossomed.

Pragya  tried to dry her wet hair after bath,but it was partially wet.

She saw Abhi looking at her with a smile.

A sweet smile adorned her lips.

He came near her:Pragya,today I want to tell you something.I am a small music composer.I do stage shows some times.No helping Purab in his business.I get enough salary to look after my mother and sisters who are in Lucknow.I guess I can look after my wife too.Will you be my wife?

Pragya was shocked:Abhi?

Abhi as smiling at her hopefully.

Pragya:No Abhi…no….

Abhi was shocked as he was completely sure of getting a positive reply from her.

ABHI:Pragya…why?I have any fault?Then please tell.I will correct myself.

PRAGYA:No.You are perfect.But…

ABHI:But?

PRAGYA:But I love some one else.

He was shocked.

PRAGYA:I am in love with…Purab.

Abhi felt that his head was spinning:Purab?

Abhi entered Purab’s room.

Purab:Arre yaar…did you talk to Pragya?

Abhi’s tear drops fell on his hand.

PURAB:Abhi…your presence used to make me happy.But your tears which fell on my hand burnt my hand.

Abhi burst into tears:She does’nt love me.

PURAB:What?

Abhi was crying.

PURAB:Don’t cry over such a silly thing.There are so many girls who are mad about your music.You will get one among them.

ABHI:It’s not easy to fall in love with anyone.

Purab was helpless.

ABHI:I know that you joked to console me.

He wiped his tears.

ABHI:It’s ok.I will not cry.

Abhi tried hard to smile.

ABHI:But I need to smile.Because I should be happy that my best friend is loved by someone who is very nice.

Purab gave him a confused look.

ABHI:Pragya is in love with you Purab.She told me that.

Purab was shocked.He could’nt believe what he heard.

Abhi left the room.

Pragya entered Purab’s room with a glass of milk.

PRAGYA:Drink this.You will feel fresh.

Purab stared at her.Pragya felt nervous.

PRAGYA:Purab,why are you staring at me like this as if I am a criminal?

PURAB:You are a criminal Pragya.

Pragya was shocked.The glass fell down from her hand as her hand shivered.

PURAB:You lied to Abhi that you love me.You rejected his innocent love.So you are a criminal.

PRAGYA:Purab!

PURAB:Pragya…tell me…why did you lie to Abhi?I know that you don’t love me.It’s not easy to understand whether someone loves me or not.But it’s not tough to understand that I am not loved by  you.I can understand that from your eyes.To avoid Abhi you cooked up that you love me.Right?

Pragya was silent.She dared to speak.

PRAGYA:I am sorry Purab.

Purab smiled:Finally through your silence you admitted that you don’t love me.Right Pragya?

Pragya decided not to face him and concentrated on cleaning the floor.

PURAB:Pragya…you can ignore me.But don’t ignore Abhi’s feelings.He thinks that you rejected him because of me.You should at least tell him the truth.Please…it’s my request.

Pragya ran out crying.Purab was upset.

A rainy day…

Pragya went near Abhi.

PRAGYA:Abhi…I am sorry.

ABHI:Why should you be sorry?You just told me the truth.

PRAGYA:No.Till now what ever I told you was far away from truth.
