Sameer stood at the corner of her street looking at the window, he just could not go back to his room, after seeing her so broken. A little later, he saw her shadow movement behind the thin drapes.
"Keh diya aise raho jaise mai houn hi nahi tumhare pass .Tum na hoke bhi mere pass har waqt ho, toh yeh kaise karunga Naina. Tumse bina baat kiye mai kaise rahoun " .
Aaj teri yaad ko seene se laga kar roye
Apne khwaboun mein tujhe pass bulake roye
Hazaroun baar pukara tujhe tanhaiyon mein

His broken heart was trying to sink in the promise he had made to her. Her petite frame was in his arms, melting the tension from his body. She had rested her heavy heart on his chest. He longed for that peace. All he wanted was to look in her eyes and sink deeply in them. "Kash woh lamha wahi tham jata ".

Sleep was away from Naina too. She had urged Sameer, not to talk to her but she could not convince her heart, it questioned her "Tu reh payegi uske bina?, usse baat kiye bina ? kyun dard de rahi khud ko aur Sameer ko ? Sirf tumse pyar karta hai woh , kyun saza de rahi ho usko ?
Mohabbat buri hai, buri hai Mohabbat

She didn't have any answers to the questions, "Mohabbat bhi kya aajeb cheez hai " she sighed and walked over to the window, staring out of it absently.
He watched her from a distance she looked like the same person that once he knew. But today he couldn't do anything. He felt so helpless, he couldn't argue nor make her understand. He was tired of trying.

When the lights went off. With a heavy heart, he headed back to his room. "Ek na Ek din zaroor aayega Naina, jab tumhare hothoun pe iqrar hoga aur mai us din ka intezaar badi besabri se karunga" he prayed to God to ease their pain.
"Chalo uska nahi toh Khuda ka ehsaan lete hai
Woh minnat se nahi maana toh manat se maang letein hai”

The next day Sameer reached early and mentioned to Karthik that the current place was on the way and caused a lot of disturbance while working. His request was immediately granted by Karthik and a new place was assigned.
Sameer sat at Naina's desk and glanced at the new place she couldn't see him. From his desk, he could see Naina leaving or entering the room. It was 11.00 Naina hadn't reached.
"Mariz -e-Mohabbat houn ek tera deedar kaafi hai
Har ek dawa se behtar ,nigah-e-yaar kaafi hai”
(Mariz : Patient , Deedar : vision )
" Kal raat itni der se soyi hai, kahi tabiyat toh kharab nahi huvi hogi? Agar thodi der mein nahi aayegi to mai khud chala jaounga, naaraz ho toh ho. Naina devi ka gussa bardash kar lounga." he said annoyingly.
Just then Naina entered, Sanjay who was also waiting impatiently, walked towards her and asked.
"Naina tabiyat thik nahi ? Kyun late aayi? Bahut thaki thaki lag rahi houn. She saw Sameer, forcing a smile she replied "Mai thik houn. Ekdum first class".
Sameer took long strides and in no time was standing near to Sanjay facing his back to Naina. Placing a hand across Sanjay's shoulders Sameer said loud enough for Naina to hear " Sanjay sun naa ek sher abhi abhi yaad aaya hai
Aakhoun ke neeche kale ghere batate hai
Hothoun pe jo muskaan hai jhooti hai .
"Par mere aakhoun ke neeche koi dark circles nahi hai" Sanjay replied
" Abey Saale sunne ko kahan tha, sher tujh pe thodi hi kahan tha. Chal tera DB issue dekhtein hai..." Sameer pulled him away from her.
"Bada aaya Naina ke khabar lena wala " he murmured to himself.
Naina smiled at his possessiveness. Only Sameer could understand her inner turmoil which others failed to see. "No good morning no Hi or Hello " lost in her thoughts she watched him. He had kept his promise and behaved as if she didn't exist. "Bura kyun lag raha hai, tu yahi toh chahati hai" her heart whispered to her.
He sat at Sanjay's desk and took a quick glance at her "Dekhenge madam kitne din mujhse dur reh sakti hai. Tum khud bhi nahi janti ki tum kya chahati ho. Hum ek dusre ke bina adhure hai aur yeh duri tumhe ehsaas dila ke rahegi. I miss you", his heart whispered in pain, clutching to a thin thread of hope.
The first half of the day was over and Naina couldn't get a satisfying view of Sameer, only a glimpse from the far end. "Ab meeting mein dekhoungi , kal itna kuch kahan hai ,woh thik toh hoga na ? Ek baar dekh loun uski aakhen sab kuch bata degi " Even in meeting Sameer choose the same row as Naina and took a seat at the end of it. To see him she had to lean.
"Agar dekhoungi toh sochega maine apna faisala badal diya hai, nahi nahi Naina dekh mat" she was trying to convince herself.
Tere deedar ka nasha bhi ajeeb hai
Tu na dekhe toh dil tadapta hai
Aur Tu dekhe toh dil dhadakta hai "
" Naina What do you think"? Karthik asked.
She was clueless,her entire focus was on whether to see him or not... " Sorry Karthik, could you please repeat "
"Are you ok Naina? You are the only person who is most attentive and today I see you are lost somewhere" Karthik questioned.
" Sorry, I am fine.." she apologized.
Karthik then repeated his question. Naina responded to all his queries, Sameer was happy that his plan was working and his heart murmured
Tang nahi karte hai hum unhe aaj kal
Yeh baat bhi unhe tang karti hai
"Karthik kal Firday funster karte hai plz, bahut din ho gayein, release ke chakar mein kuch fun activities huve hi nahi". Divya requested. Karthik happily agreed, his team had worked a lot. He also announced to the entire team that an outing will be planned in the last week of the month.
When Naina approached Sameer to discuss database issue " Email mein likh dena problem kya hai mai dekh kar reply kar dunga. Tum aake batane ki taklif mat lo " he said without even looking at her.
His pain was almost palpable, and Naina couldn't help feeling it. He was following what she had asked and it was not easy for him. Her gaze strolled over his face absently "Kitna thak thaka lag raha hai, shayad raat bhar yeh bhi soya nahi " she said to herself.
"Kya Sameer aaj kal bade chup chup se ho, kuch problem hai kya " Sahil asked.
Sameer smiled and said "Kuch nahi yaar bas itna samaj lo
" Khamoshi Mashoor hai hamari, Saadgi bhi kamal hai
Hum Shararati bhi inteha hai ,tanha bhi bemisal hai " saying this he headed out. It was a long day for both.
He didn't escort her to the hostel. The twenty minutes walk which soothed her, today felt the longest. "Kabhi bhi meri aise baatein nahi manta tha, kya sach mein woh ab kabhi baat nahi karega ? Nahi aisa nahi ho sakta. Shayad aaj jaldi nikal gaya hoga, bahut thaka huva bhi lag raha tha. Kal soya nahi hoga raat bhar meri tarah " she tried to convince herself.
Sameer kept a safe distance from her and observed until she reached the hostel. After dinner, he rode again to her hostel. He sat on his bike at the corner of the street and waited until the lights of her room went off.
"Ek din mein hi jaan nikal rahi hai tumse baat kiye bina Naina , aur tumhare chehre ki udasi bata rahi hai ki tum bhi bahut miss kar rahi ho. Closing his eyes he prayed " Please aur mat tadpaoun, kuch na kuch karke Naina ko mere pass lekar aao " .
Friday most of the team was in a fun mood with no serious work going on.
"Sameer Bhai , Yeh Naina bahut pyari ladki hai na, kya lagta hai aapko kisi se pyar karti hogi kya ". Sahil asked.
"Sabke sab meri Naina ke peeche padein hai ", he muttered and then replied "Haan committed hai aur beta tu abhi bacha hai ,teri Bhabhi hai woh ,aur jisse pyar karti hai na woh tera Bhai samjha " Sahil was an innocent and sweet guy, he agreed to what Sameer said.
"Thik hai Bhai , Naina ko Bhabhi maan liya" he said and left.
Sameer smiled " Bewakoof hai par baat sahi karke gaya. Bahut jald saari duniya se kahunga Naina sirf meri hai.
"Bada muskura rahe ho, kya baat hai maan gayi kya tumhari mehbooba" Sonal teased him.
Just then Naina entered the room
Ek alag si pehchaan banane ki aadat hai humein
Zakhm jitna gehra utna muskurane ki aaadat hai humein
Naina held the chair trying to control her tears,she could not bear the pain she was giving to him.
" Yeh sahi nahi hai Naina" her inner voice whispered. A shadow of guilt darkened her eyes.She tried to divert her mind and went back to her work, which she could hardly concentrate.
Around 4.00 the fun activities began. Divya and Sonal had made a list of activities. "Pehle kuch fun games honge, whoever wins will get a gift. Phir us ke baad apna Sameer gaana gayega and then pizza and snacks " Divya announced the agenda of the evening.
Games like Human Knot, pick an object and explain it to a group its use without speaking was explained by Sonal. It was fun. Naina didn't fail to notice Sonal had held Sameer's hand in Human knot and kept holding it till the end. "Haath pakdi hai yeh dikh nahi raha aur janab ko bahut hansi aa rahi hai uske saath"
Though it was a game Naina felt a strange sense went through her, one she might think was jealousy. As soon as the game got over "Game hogaya Sonal, haath chod sakti ho" she said in an irritated tone. That's when Sameer realized that Sonal was holding his hand and quickly pulled it.
"Bahut hansi aa rahi hai na tumhe ? " she said and glared at him. He gave a flirtatious smile to her, leaning a little he sadi softly
Gehari ho jati hai har dafaa Mohabbat meri
Zaya nahi jata tera baar baar ruthna
(Zaya : In vain ; har dafaa - everytime )
Though she felt good hearing the sher, "Tumse kuch kaho toh bas pyar mein hi tumhari gaadi atakti hai" showing fake anger she moved away.
"Tumhe dekhke toh sirf pyar aur pyar hi toh aata hai " he said to himself.
"Ab Sameer hamare liye ek zabardast gaana gaayenge. yaar koi mast romantic gaana please " Sonal requested and pulled him.
His gaze shifted to her as she sat down. He gave her a warm smile and a soft, pleasant velvety voice began to sing.
Waada raha sanam, honge judaa na hum

As soon as she heard his voice a vivid glow kindled in her face, lighting up both her sorrow and her joy. Angry as she was, she couldn't suppress a smile. The truth of his words made her last meager attempt at resistance melt.
"Kyun itna pyar karte ho, ab bhi umeed or bharosa de rahe ho? " she looked at him affectionately.
"Kiske liye Sameer se dur jaa rahi hai Naina, unke liye jin hone teri kabhi fikar nahi ki, na teri khushi chahiye. Unki baatoun ka soch kar is pyar bhare dil ko tod rahi hai tu .kaun pyar karenge Naina tujhse is tarah" her heart questioned. The sincerity in his voice brought tears to her eyes, she realized what she had done, she felt repentance and sorrow.
Sameer who was looking at her raised his eyebrows questioning and shifted to the second stanza skipping the first
Kaisi udaasi tere chehre pe chhaayi
Kya baat hai jo teri aankh bhar aayi
Dekho to kya nazaare hain Tumhaari tarah pyaare hain

A slow smile appeared on her lips, Sameer gave that little twisted smile again.

As soon as he finished Sonal ran towards him and excitedly said "Sameeeerrrr ! kya mast gayein ho... mera mann hai tumhare saath woh " Saathiya tune kya kiya " gaaoun."
Naina nearly choked on her juice, hearing this. She vividly recalled the moment, they both had sung this song in farewell function. It's their song "how could he sing with her ?? " she gave a death glare to him.
Sameer was trying to find a reason to deny Sonal's request, suddenly he saw Naina faint and rushed to her. "Naina aakhen kholo please " .His face turned pale, he pulled her close and made her drink water.
Divya held her hand and took her to the conference room to rest. Taking a full plate of snacks and food that was ordered Sameer headed to the conference room.
"Divya mai isse khila dounga , tum jao " Sameer informed.
"Yeh khalo please, jaise hi tumhara khana ho jayega mai chala jaounga " he said and placed the plate in front of her.
"Mujhe chakar nahi aaya . Mai bas hamara ganna tum uske saath na gaa sako isliye drama kiya " she confessed. He tilted his head to the side, observing her with a faint smile.
Knowing very well that Sameer will not eat alone,she requested
" Itna nahi khaa sakti, tum kha lo kuch mere saath " she forwarded the plate. His heart felt a ray of hope and said
Fikr bata rahi hai mohabbat zinda hai
Faasaloun se keh do guroor na karein
(Fikr : Thoughfulness, Faasaloun : distance, guroor : proud)
Both shared the food in silence. After they had finished it.
"Tum woh gaana uske saath kaise gaa sakte ho ?? ". Her voice had an annoyed edge.
When she glanced at him, he was eyeing her, a wry smile twisting his lips. He leaned towards her "Jab tum hamari ek yaad kisi ke saath share nahi kar sakti, toh tum apne Sameer ko kisi aur ke saath dekh sakougi? Kyun har baar khud se dur karti ho? Hum ek dusre ke begair adhure hai. Socho Naina , jo kar rahi ho woh galat hai ya sahi", his voice was warm and gentle. Looking into that semi-sweet chocolate gaze, it was tough to maintain her composure. With an affectionate voice, he said
" Tu bahut yaad aaya har sham ke baad
Kabhi Aagaz se pehle Kabhi Anjam ke baad
Is Dubate Suraj ki kasam ,is dil pe koi Naam nahi Likha
Tere naam se pehle Tere naam ke baad
(Aagaz : Beginning, Anjam : End)
Without another word, he walked out of the room. Her mind asked her to stop thinking about the past. His words echoed. It was true she could not see Sameer sharing a single moment with any other girl. How much ever she tried to convince herself, she could not allow anyone to have any right on Sameer."Mai samaj gayi Sameer, der se sahi par yeh jaan gayi houn tum sirf mera ho aur Naina sirf aur sirf tumhari. There are only two times I want to be with you Now and Forever" . she jumped up and exclaimed, " I love you, ab no doori" . Her heart sang with joy, she felt peace at last. Bubbling with happiness, she hummed as she strode out of the conference room in search of Sameer. Her heart happily said
Ishq who nahi jo tujhe mera kar dein
Ishq who hai jo tujhe kisi aur ka na hone de
The entire ODC was empty, she could only see Sanjay sitting and working.
"Sab kahan chale gaye? " she asked Sanjay.
"Sab snacks leke canteen chale gayein hai, " he replied
"Wahan toh Sameer se baat nahi ho sakti, uske aane tak status reports bhej deti houn " she muttered. She wanted to finish her work as fast as possible and be with Sameer.
As soon as Sameer entered he saw Naina deeply involved in her work and Sanjay staring at her. His eyes returned to Naina, her dupatta had slid down from one side and he didn't take much time for Sameer to understand why Sanjay was staring at her. The sight made his blood boil. He tightened his fist in anger, the key chain cut a deep wound but this pain was nothing compared to what his heartfelt. He swallowed hard his anger, any violent reaction would harm his Naina's reputation.
" Sanjay Tujhe Karthik bula raha hai bahar, abhi jaldi jaa " . Sanjay wanted to be in good books of Karthik so that he could get the next onsite chance. As soon as he heard it, he got up in a hurry, taking this opportunity Sameer shot out his foot to trip him. His mouth formed a grim line and his eyes were bloodshot. "Arye gir gaye tum toh " he extended his hand and cautioned him " Dekh kar chalna Sanjay, nahi toh aise giroge phir uth nahi paaoge. Abhi to sirf spects toote hai , pata nahi aakhen bhi jaa sakti hai" .
As soon as Sanjay was out of sight. Sameer walked towards Naina. His expression was a fifty-fifty mixture of pain and anger
Is tarah apni aakhoun mein Qaid kiya hai tumhe
Koi aur nazar bharke dekhein bhi toh accha nahi lagta
He took the dupatta and placed it on her shoulder covering her deep neck " Zara dhyan diya karo " he said softly and walked.
"Sameerrrrr !! " she shouted and ran behind him. "Yeh kab huva ?? Yeh haath par chot kaise lagi ? Kya karte ho ? Itna khoon?. Kuch dhyan nahi detein khud ka ? Tumhara haath itna kyun garam hai ?? " touching his forehead "Tumhe to bhukar hai , tum office kyun aayein ?, Kya haal bana rakha hai khud ka " She made him sit and then ran to get first aid kit.
When she returned with the kit he pulled his hand from her grip "Naina rehne do, mai dekh lounga " he said angrily without looking at her.
"Chup ek dum chup ! Kuch nahi bologe tum ab!. Kitna khoon beh raha hai aur bhukar bhi hai. Ab yahan se sidhe doctor pass chalenge aur wahan se tumhare room pe. Bas apni mann ki karte ho" she held his hand and started cleaning it.
Few drops of tears fell on the back of her palm, She leaned her head back and looked up at him. "Roo kyun rahe ho ? Bahut dard ho raha hai ?". He shook his head and said, "Ruk kyun gayi, daantoun na aur, bahut dino baad sun raha houn tumhari pyar wali daant". The tears which she had held started following freely. " Pyar wali daant ke liye , tumhe aise dard dene ki zaroorat nahi, jab chahe mai tumhe pyar se daant sakti hou " she said in a choked voice.
When she applied Dettol, he winced in pain and along with him she too winced, then blew softly on the wound. " Jal mujhe raha, tum kyun aise aawazein nikal rahi ho ??". "Tumhe jal raha hai , dard mujhe ho raha hai" she replied.
"Yeh zakhm dikh raha hai tumhe par , he took her hand and placed it on his heart and asked: " Yahan jo dard hai woh nahi mehsoos ho raha hai ?". They both looked at each other. The swollen eyes, the dark circles were telling a story. A story with no words and just silence.
"Meri har baat toh nahi mante ho, toh maine kaha baat mat karo toh tum baat karna chod diye. ?.Mera Sameer kahan chala gaya jo har waqt har bahane se mere aas pass rehta tha. " she complained.
"Toh Kya karta Naina , tumhe dhukh nahi de sakta. ? Isliye tumhari baat maan li" he argued. She cleaned the wound and put a bandage.
"Aur mai tumhe aise nahi dekh sakti... Jaan gayi houn ab ek dusre ke bina adhure hai. mujhe maaf kar do bahut dard diya hai na maine tumhe? saying this she lowered her eyes
He held her hand in between his and lifting her chin he looked into her eyes . She could only see love, there was no anger,nor any sort of complaint. With all the warmth in his voice he said "Galti toh dono se huvi, aur pyar mein maafi nahi hoti sirf pyar hota hai. Jo bhi kiya humne ek dusre ke liye accha soch ke kiya. Mai tumhare liye har dard seh lounga, bas tum mere saath raho. Ab dur nahi karogi na khud se?"
"Hai yahi meri dua rab se , mai rahoun teri panaahoun mein " she sang as a reply to him
God had been really very kind to her, he had given Sameer and she felt like the luckiest person on earth.
"Ab chalo, doctor ke pass aur phir tumhare room pe baki baatein karenge. Itne din jo tadpe hai saari ki saari hasrat nikalni hai. " Saying this she pulled him.
He leaned towards her "Saari ki Saari hasratein??
She looked up and he winked. Realizing what he meant Naina blushed, lowering her eyes,
Yun hi tum mujhse baat karti ho
Ya koyi pyaar kaa iraada hai raising his eyebrows he sang with a mischievous smile
She replied almost in a cracked voice
Adaye dil ki janata hi nahi
Mera hamdam bhi kitna sada hai
"Kitna besura gaati ho Naina , " hearing this she hit his arm playfully. That pleased smile was on his lips again and his eyes held a glint of humor. His arms surrounded her in a warm gentle embrace that had no urgency. She moved her hand down to his chest and could feel his heart thumping. "I love you Sameer" she whispered against his chest.
"Dil ki Dhadkan aur Meri Sada hai Tu
Meri Pehli aur Aakhri Wafa hai Tu
Chaha hai tujhe Chahat se bhi badh kar
Meri Chahat aur Chahat ki inteha hai Tu
"I love you too," he whispered against her ear, nuzzling it. His warm breath on her neck made her shiver. Gaining control over herself ,she pushed him away
"Chalo Ab, Pehle Doctor pass jana hai .Ek tetanus ka injection lena bhi hoga. " she said in a sharp voice.

Hayee kya update h ( dil le lo style) dear Sajida, i know they are craving for each other with this distance promise. Aur sameer ki har sayeri dil ko chu gayi( sach kitni herat to heart connected sayeris h sajida aapki, face per ek pyari smile aa jati h ,fallen love your sayeris again and again) . Everytime your story looking so refreshing and beautifully. I share you one thing that so funny but true (when i reading this update i litrally laughing like mad for sameer,s sayeri, naina's jealousy, sameer's reply for sahil" bhabhi h tumhari aur jisse pyar karti h wo bhai.sahil is such a idiot) sameer is right how naina saw sameer with anyone when she didn't allow he sang a song ( which is their song) with anyone. And i love her acting of faint ( such a nautanki. And i remember a scenceof the show where she faint to change the letter " sameer weeds naina" you remember Sajida?? ) and last the possessive sameer (treat to watch /read) and care of naina. And her understanding that they can't live without each other. They only matter for each-other not the so cold society. And the confession of love so heartwarming.
