There's one (I mean Udupi Mutt) about half hour north east of Edison. Have you been there? It's run by the same management.

But then you would have to visit Udupi to see the unique Krishna. :) I forget if there is a dress code for men entering the temple, but you do need to wear dhoti and shalya (anga-vastram) if you sit down to have prasadam. I think the same holds for Sringeri Mutt.

No haven't been to this one though I've had a few friends tell me that it is a really beautiful temple. I went to Udupi when I was too little and don't remember it much. Next time I'm in India 🤔

(The list just keeps growing!!)

Khushi and Rashmi did have a small conversation about her family on the day of the pooja at Rashmi's place. Khushi had mentioned about having only her mother and that her father had passed away a year back. But like you said, Rashmi seems more interested in talking about herself and her state of affairs than knowing about Khushi's background. I have a feeling she knows that there is no point in pining for Arnav now, I think he has made that abundantly clear. But its almost as if she wants to justify why she did what she did to all and sundry. I feel sorry for her actually, I think having lead a very sheltered life she's finding it difficult now, especially in the absence of her father. Someone who needs a male figure to lean on I guess. Where as Khushi is probably the polar opposite, someone who has always been self sufficient. Even as a child.

@bold - Completely agree with you. It's a hard place she is in. Even if it's not because she wants a male figure to lean on, it is justified for her to seek companionship, right? I am thinking in terms of her being a widow. How many men would be willing to take on not just a wife but her small daughter too? And won't she be wondering if a man she selects would be good to her daughter? She doesn't have too many options from what I see. I think she will be comfortable only with someone who she knows reasonably well.

How sad that a decision that turned out to be not so right for her should result in her living a lonely life. She is too young to contemplate life all alone. Yep, my heart goes out to her.

I am on the verge of talking myself into rooting for Arnav and Rashmi

I better stop now :)

Absolutely, she has every right to find someone to share her life with. What I meant by needing a male figure was to do with her background, someone who lead an extremely sheltered life, were the father had the say. Even at first when she and Arnav clearly were interested in a relationship, she held back due to her dad. Then when he started having doubts, she decided to plunge right in, maybe an act of rebellion for her at that time, but at first sign of trouble she again went by what her dad advised. If going by what she says, that she chose luxury over love, what does that say about the depth of her feeling, maybe it was just infatuation.

It’s very hard for someone who has lead a sheltered life to break that mold of sorts and find the strength to lead an independent life. Your life so far hasn’t equipped you for it, hence the need for a person to lean on, especially a man. She says that to Khushi, that her father should’ve made her independent. I feel sorry for her, her whole life stretches in front of her, and a child she needs to raise alone. Knowing the kind of person Arnav is and all the help he has given her, it’s natural if she wishes she could make a life with him, especially with their past.

Exactly! Maybe we could clone Arnav?

Seriously speaking though, you are bang on about her brought up not equipping her for a life without a guiding males hand. Does she still have her mom by her side?

Arnav automatically assumes responsibility for her and her child. It’s only natural that she rediscovers feelings for him. If Arnav hadn’t spoken about wanting to break up with her in the prologue, I would have thought somewhere he’s trying to get back at her for not choosing him in the first place.

That reminds me, he wanted to break up with her right? Then why did he speak to her father and ask her to wait for him? I would have thought he would taken that opportunity and told her that ‘they’ were not going to happen. He should’ve been relieved,Haina? I feel her guilt is a little misplaced.

He wanted to, and that’s when she decided to plunge right in, told him she was ready to be in a relationship. He then felt it wouldn’t be right to break her heart, so decided to carry on with the relationship. We don’t know if he had later told her about having misgivings, maybe when they met again after her marriage.

I don’t know about her mum, let’s hope she’s there.

Hmm...not wanting to break someone's heart is a poor excuse to plunge further into a relationship.

Oh wow!! Deja vu right there 😆

I so badly want to know what Arnav was actually thinking and feeling.

It somehow seems as Arnav has already reached a decision regarding Khushi and his and her relationship whereas Khushi is only now realizing her affections for him. Even if nothing has been said explicitly, does he think he has alluded to his feelings enough through his actions?

Khushi has realized her love towards Arnav and she has accepted that she is in live with him and does not want to lose it , Rashmi's loss has put clarity in Khushi's mind about what she wants in her life .

Arnav is clearly attracted towards Khushi he wants to spend time with her. Loved the trip. Lol the banter between Manav and Aaarav is like watching Tom and Jerry. I am in love with both of them.

The way he acts around her, its as if they have been married for a while isn't it?!!😆 Manav has decided they are in a relationship and has told Rashmi also. The main parties haven't had any conversation about that!

From our vantage point, he started to have doubts about continuing his relationship with Rashmi after his first meeting with Khushi all those years ago. Post which he had shared with Manav that he was thinking of breaking it off with Rashmi, but never got around to it as Rashmi then agreed to be in a relationship. Manav had mistakenly thought that it was because he had developed feelings for Payal. Now the million dollar question is whether he has recognized Khushi or not. If he has why is he keeping quiet, is it because he doesn't want to rake up the past which can only bring pain?

The description of the Falls reminded me of that movie. There is a song in that movie too around a waterfalls. Not sure if it is the same one you are talking about. Anyway sharing the link below:

I know the movie but I don't remember the details any more. I don't think Kudlu Theertha falls is the same as it is in Agumbe close to Hebri in Udupi district.

Yana is supposed to be in North Karnataka near Karwar.
