Ash never discredited Alia for her talent and neither am I,but she's not the best thing that's happened since sliced bread like some make her out to be.

For me her best performance was in UP,and Highway was pretty decent,but it's nothing extraordinary that I feel I should write home about.And she's certainly not that great(just yet) that she should be compared to the likes of the legendary Madhuri or Sridevi,something which I see quite a lot of here these days which I find ridiculously absurd!

In a industry full of mediocrity at this moment in time,Alia sure does stand out like a sore thumb for her craft, thanks to all the opportunities and privileges that have been handed to her on a platter courtesy nepotism ka papa KJo,so kudos to her for utilising all these given opportunities to her advantage to get to where she is now.

What I applaud Ash more for is calling out the top male stars for being given(or having)the power to call the shots on casting.

She's only stated nothing but the truth here,has she not?Or is that Ash just being insecure and mean on that front as well?😆

I am sorry but she will not be the only actress...if its not kjo offering and pullling the strings for her. all the sanjay leela bhansali's, raju hirani's, soojit sarcar;s will be casting other talent! unless kjo lobbies for her and coproduces with other production houses...then there will be a problem

nepotism is different from favoritism and lobbying so no its not the same!

but it is also an opinion if i feel alia is proclaimed as talented as she is. i dont think she is! I dont think she would be seen as talented if she didn't get those films she got. she was not good in shaandaar for example. it was a bad film. she played her self...i could not bear her performance in that.

I liked her other films...but that is not the argument im trying to make.

she also could not do ishaqzaade or hassee toh phase, could not do fashion, could not do bajirao as good as those other actors? do you think she could? same thing!
