Jesus! Let her make her own choices. And IDT she is ugly. Rather, I feel she has a good figure, right kind of curvy.

Anyway, What is this book thing? Should Muslim men not be allowed to marry sikh women too then? Sikh follow Guru Granth Sahib too, which is a book? Or is there more to it?

People of book mentioned in quran , jews and christian.

Sikh women have to convert for a marriage recognised under Islamic law.

these r HARDCORE FACTS about having a muslim been married to a hindu... even if we shy away from accepting it on this forum. (for some reason)

a muslim can ONLY get married to a christian (as they r ehl e kitaab) but there is NO CONCEPT in Islam of a muslim getting married to a hindu or jew (yahudi). it is strictly not allowed.

Even the permission to marry a christian is not valid as such anymore by most scholars now..it USED to be on the bases of the holy book bible as it shared many things with Quran..but as everyone knows Bible is now very much altered by many over the bygone years/centuries, thats why its not advisable to have a muslim chrisisian marriage as well, by many islamic scholars...Even under Pakistani law muslim christian marriage is not allowed/valid.

All of the beliefs of hindus and muslims r entirely different from each other, more than any other religion if we compare it with Islam.

@Bold: NOT TRUE! There is no one else that believes in the concept of 'ONE God' more than Hindus..It shouldn't be confused with the fact that Hinduism preaches about seeing God in everything, including ones own self..According to Hinduism, God is - one, shapeless & formless and can be found in anything and everything! Its a much higher concept and one needs to have an open mind to learn and understand it!

BTW,Why is religion dragged into every topic on BWF?

Mixed parenting kids usually turn out bold. Coz there no one religion to hold too. Kids are usually confused about the religion.
