Taimur Ali Khan is more famous than I am: Sharmila Tagore

Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, the cute munchkin of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, has been making headlines ever since he was born. The young Nawab belongs to two legendary dynasties - Pataudi and Kapoor.

Even Taimur's grandmother, veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, admitted that the toddler steals the spotlight from her. Speaking exclusively to India Today, Sharmila Tagore said on the sidelines of an event in Kolkata, "He is more famous than I am."

She was in Kolkata for multiple programmes organised by the government of West Bengal and Kolkata Police, including one that raises awareness about road safety.

On being asked about her grandson, Sharmila Tagore took a dig at the media for treating him like a star already. Taimur, who is all set to start pre-school, was recently in the news for an adorable picture with his classmates.
