Then the writers went slightly over the top with the whole Power Puff Betiyaan scene and when Meera warns Vivaan not to interfere in her matter? 😕 Glad that Vivaan answered back, 'Tumhari yeh aadat chooti hai, jo kisi aur ki choote gi?'. Beside the fact that, it was always his matter more than her's.
Meera was also wrong to taunt Vivaan with the whole slap-that-did-not happen. What of the actual slap she gave him on her wedding day and believing him of that vile video leak? Vivaan has a right to come to the police station and check on the investigation. Glad he stood his ground and stood right there watching everything.
I ignored that scene as soon as it came and decided to enjoy the episode instead. Senseless and downright ridiculous. One moment she goes "meri bhi maa" and the next instant she's asking the guy, coz of whom the 'Aurat' is her maa, to shut up? Does she think Vivaan is a savage who has come all the way from London only to get his mother sentenced? I want to know about her thought process here... if she thinks he has made and released that video, it's not shocking that she sees him as someone who judges his mom's character and wants her jailed.
And suddenly it's all about Amaya alone... the person she came across in the locked store room means nothing? I get she's mad about the HR but the least she could do was to keep the two separate? I don't know probably I'm the only one to think it was insensitive... certainly cannot pass off whatever FL does as "Awww she has a mind of her own".
This along with the slap taunt...all in public... Had the ML done something like that the scene would also have dramatic bg, tearful FL and remaining people casting aspersions on him. Not to forget, demands for a new ML.😛
Would have mentally shot off Vivaan had he stayed mute, awwing away at biwi.🤢
Naari Shakti would have made sense had Meera not let Sumer and his mom walk all over her. It's strange how even then, her ire was directed at Vivaan... and it stands the same even now when it's about HIS OWN mother. Not buying ZeeTV and the creatives' idea of a free thinking woman. Thanks but no thanks.
