It's a lesson that once a person misbehaves and harass a woman, they should be alert and cautious to anything related to that person. Kanak was out smarted and trapped in a hotel room by Aditya, who touches her, and tell her out loud verbally his intentions - his ego has been hurt, he would take revenge that would leave her ashamed and she wouldn't be able to show her face to the society, she is angry, she tries pushing, she runs only to be trapped and thrown in the bed, he is on her and she escapes - this is the bitter reality guys who can't handle NO - in this case a devar who is like a son, a brother from another mother crossed his limits - the thing happened or not Kanak has been traumatized, he has crossed his limits - the idea to harass her, assault her and Molest her that's enough to convict him to a criminal charge.
And the worst of all just to have Kanak's character assassinated in front of Uma, Massi was involved in it - She a woman allowed her son to touch another, to harass her, she put a another woman through such a trauma-for her own personal benefit, a woman who pulled down another woman- Massi has the audacity to go and threaten Kanak that she better keep quiet-Uma is standing there shell shocked, Kanak is out of her mind crying with relief and trauma, in such state of mind Massi threatens her to keep quiet as nobody would believe her - Kanak gets angry, her trauma, the hurt she has been through screams through her she goes to Uma.
Uma opens the door and Kanak is running towards him in a disheveled state, she hugs him, she cries and she squeezes, trying to be absorbed in him - he was her raavan initially and today it's the same man in his arms she finds refuge... he doesn't hold her back, he doesn't give her comfort but he is there...taking in the shock himself. Rajeev starts libeling Kanak and Uma breaks... he shouts back in anger that it's his damn wife, and how dare he touch her - finally the husband returns, and it returns with a vengeance, he slaps the crap and blood out of Rajeev - Uma gave up Kanak, he didn't trust her, he broke her heart - but when someone raised a question about Kanak's character, Uma lost it. He lashed out at Rajeev, - he trusts Kanak, and it's his dharm to protect and trust his wife...- it seems like rambha track played to Kanak's benefit today, Uma knows her better than ever, he trusts Kanak's enough to know that she would never compromise on her respect and character - this was the straw that was drawn by Massi which fell flat in her face and Uma snapped out of his shell in favor of Kanak. - a girl who had all circumstances against her, a girl who was trapped, traumatized, assaulted, seen in disheveled state by her husband... in whom technically no one would have trusted, in that bleakest of moment Kanak's husband came out of his daze, he stood up for his wife... at a time she needed him the most. He is about to crush the culprit underneath a gigantic vase, but Kanak stops him with his kasam-he still for a moment but proceeds again, but kanak comes in between and he asks her to get out of the way... Kanak tells him that it was Aditya all along, she has the courage to speak it out loud, she doesn't hide the name, she ain't subdued by Massi threats, she wouldn't be stopped by anyone or anything to speak out his name. Uma looks at her, and Massi steps and tries to defend trying to convince Uma that Aditya won't do anything as he is Uma's brother - but Uma doesn't listen saying that when it comes to his wife, no matter the relationship he would punish the culprit - Uma has woken up after a long time and it was much needed... and the way he roared like a lion was worth every second...today the husband came to stand with his wife, when the whole world and time was against her.
