@RED: SPOT ON - given Preeta's upbringing, principles etc... despite being ENGAGED to Deepak - he was her FATHER'S WISH - evn then she just about managed to stand next to him when required. Him putting his arm around her would make her recoil.
It's amazing that PreeRan started off on the complete wrong foot, they LITERALLY HATED each other, yet their souls was connected.
Considering their circumstances of meetings we'd be compelled to believe there's no way they could find goodness in the other - but Preeta doesn't even notice the 'limits' he crosses which she more than willingly allows him to. If it was wrong, her intuition would demand she immediately back off. She only does that when she becomes overwhelmed with the feelings he stirs inside her.😳
And that's what you have said applies - Preeta could only connect to someone like that who has touched her soul (subconsciously at this time). Someone she considers her 'own/husband' - she wouldn't allow anyone else that liberty. Her mind may not be contemplating that concept yet - but as they say 'actions speak louder than words' - her actions more than convey her hearts desire.😛
And Karan clearly understand her, her beliefs and hence can take that step further with her - he has seen and sensed the softening in her - which is pulling him further to her.
All those eye locks- it was only a simple case of removing a ring- they were under pressure - but those moments became very very intimate. Their eyes, their body language and silence spoke more than their words did.
It's beautiful how they have shown the growth in PreeRan - through their interactions their equations started changing the more they get to know one another. It's realistic. How far they have come from Kritika's engagement to Rishab's. First one they didn't even want to be paired, Karan was 'forcefully' pulling her into the dance - whereas here it was difficult to see where one ended and the other began. Also this is Preeta's area, her people she should be more self conscious - but she was effortlessly lost in him.
About the respect angle @Cookies... has nicely put it together as usual... 👏👏
The stark difference between her equation with Karan + Rishab is more than clear. During their dance there was always a careful distance maintained, even in their 'friendship' talks and dealings too. Neither is willing to take the step to lessen it - the comfort level hasn't developed to anything more.
I don't want to spoil my post my mentioning Rishab😆...U'm still in PreeRan land... 😳...but he has nice chemistry with sherlin... if only he stopped staring at everyone like a lovesick puppy!
