PART 21

Raman took ishita in his room and ishita sat a lavish food spread was there for them.

Ishita looked at Raman with confused eyes when Raman said-a lavish lunch with my wife.

Ishita smiled seeing this and said-thank u raman, but it wasn't needed. I think Aap ab tak mujhe samajh hi nahi paaye hai, I don't need all these fancy things in my life. All I wanted was just ur pure love for me aur jab woh hi nahi hai toh baaki sab cheezon ke koi maayne nahi hai raman.she said making his face fell.

Ishita-sorry raman, if I hurt u but I really need some time. Maine aapko pure dil se chaha hai, but u rejected me, every time I want to come near to u. And now I need time to overcome this shock. Upar joh hua that was just a heat of moment, don't expect me much raman. I can love u till eternity but can't let u come near to me again, kyunki mujhme dobara tutne ki himmat nahi hai. She said and was going when Raman hold her hand and said-i know ishita, I hurt u much, aaj jab tum mujhe inkaar karti ho, I realise how much I have hurt u with my stupidity but trust me, this time my feelings r genuine. I am not doing anything out of charity, yaa koi favour nahi kar raha hoon. I genuinely want u in my life as my wife. Yes I took time to understand my feelings for u but ab jab samajh chuka hoon I can't let u go. I know u don't want to come close to me while I don't want to go far from u, so let's try what we both want to do.

Ishita-main kuch samjhi nahi.

Raman -tum mujhse dur jaane ki koshish karo, main tumhare paas aane ki koshish karunga, a genuine try. Dekhte hai kaun jeetta hai.main yaa tum. Agar main jeeta toh hamara rishta phir se jud jayega.

Ishita-aur agar main jeet gayi toh.

Raman-toh hamesha ke liye tut jayega hamara rishta. Joh main kabhi hone nahi dunga, so I am not going to let u win. U have to loose ur heart to me again, u have to tell in love with me again. Pichli baar u loved me without expecting anything from me, but this time, u will expect and get my love in return. He said smiling while ishita was just lost in his words.

She was standing numb not knowing how to react when Raman said-ok enough of our talk, let's eat isse pehle ki khana thanda ho jaaye. He said and took ishita to the table. He make her sit and start serving her food. Though she don't want to accept but deep down she was liking his concern, his words. She started thinking that may be Raman's feeling is genuine when her eyes fell on Raman's plate. He was going on filling his plate with oily and spicy foods.

Ishita hold his hand and said-main nahi dekh rahi, Iska matlab yeh nahi ki aap kuch bhi karenge.

Raman -maine kya kiya. He asked innocently.

Ishita-itna oily food Raman, u know naa u r under medication. Yes a little oil is allowed but it's too much.

Raman -chod naa madrasan, khaane de. Waise bhi main boiled food kha kha kar bore ho gaya hoon. I want to eat authentic punjabi food. Tu ghar mein bhi kuch nahi banati, yahan toh khane de.main itni jaldi marne wala nahi re. He said smiling making ishita angry.

She got up at once and said-cant u keep quiet. Jab muh kholo, bakwaas shuru. I am warning u raman, this is not the way to talk aur naa hi aap yeh khana khayenge. She said angrily and start keeping all the food back in the bowls murmuring and cursing raman in her language making Raman amuse.

Ishita-u wait here, I will order food for u. Tabiyat kharab hai aur maharaja sahab ko authentic punjabi food khana hai. Like I will allow him, abhi thodi der pehle, he was restless and, she was saying when he hugged her from back and said-and we kissed, our first kiss. It was magical naa.

Ishita closed her eyes feeling his proximity and said-raman, what u r doing, koi aa jayega.

Raman -noone will come, as it's my cabin. Now answer me, it was magical naa. I know it was just in heat if moment, but I want to know how u felt. Tumhe mera choona bura toh nahi laga naa. He said caressing her waist over her saree.

Ishita looked at him and said-bura kyun lagega, it was u, my husband. Why will I feel bad with it. She said looking down blushing.

Raman smiled hearing this and asked-that means u liked it. Tu bahut ajeeb hai ishita, tu mujhse pyaar karti hai, meri parwah karti hai,mujhe dard mein nahi dekh sakti, u like my touch, still u say that u don't want me near u. Lagta hai ab tu bhi meri tarah confuse ho gayi hai ki aakhir tu chahti kya hai. Sahi hai, tu confuse hi rahe, at least u will get to know why I did so. Why I rejected u even after loving u. He said making her look at him.

Raman took her in side hug and said-chal bahut baatein ho gayi. Kuch kha lete hai, I am really hungry.

Ishita-but it's very spicy raman, aapko problem hui toh.

Raman -arey toh tu Ek do medicine jyada de dena but for now, I want to eat something.

Ishita nodded and went back to the table, served the food and said-achcha khaiye.

Raman smiled and start eating. Ishita too start eating with him. After having their food, ishita gave his medicine and told him to rest for a while.

Raman -no I am good, tum jao apne kaam par, I will take care of myself. I had to finish few works, iss hospital ke baahar bhi bahut si companies hai, which I have to run. So u go and do ur work and let me do mine. He said to which ishita just nod .

She was going out when she turned and walked to him. She cupped his face and said-aap upar mat jaiyega, aur akele toh bilkul bhi mat, OK.

Raman smiled at her concern and nodded saying, OK.

Ishita smiled and was going but turned about and hugged him. Raman smiled at her gesture and hugged her back.

Ishita-aap please apna khayal rakhiyega, koi bhi problem ho, just call me once. Please don't over exert urself. OK.

Raman-haan baba, I will take care of myself, tum jao.

Ishita nodded and was going when Raman called her name. She turned to hear when he said-i love u. And give her a flying kiss.

Ishita was happily shocked hearing this, she was on cloud nine hearing this from him. She always wanted him to say the three magical words to her but he always ignored her but tiday finally he said her that he loves her. Though she wanted to believe him and rejoice the moment but deep inside the hurt was still there with a fear of getting heart broken again.

She just look at him and went without saying anything.

Raman ruffled his hair and said-even though u didn't said it but I know u loves me alot and every soon u will again tell this to me.

Soon time start passing. It was more then a fortnight since Ishra joined the hospital. Raman was trying hard to convince ishita and they have come more closer then before.ishita too started smiling getting his love but deep down a bit of hesitation was still there, that what if it was again just a mirage.

One day, Ishita was sitting in her cabin with her food infront of her but her eyes were on the door as she is expecting raman. Since the day they join in the hospital they use to eat together. Though ishita never expressed her happiness about his efforts to manofy her but she loves the way raman always use to make her feel special.

Ishita-kahan reh gaye Raman, it's more then ten minutes then his usual time. She was thinking when abhi came to her cabin.

Abhi-waiting for me.

Ishita looked at him and was about to say something when he pulled the chair and sat in front of her.

Ishita-abhi, Raman aate, she was saying when abhi said-oh come on ishita. I know u don't like raman being near to u. Issi liye toh main yahan aaya hoon so that he can stay away from u.

Ishita-matlab,i didn't get u. she said getting confused over his words.

Abhi-see ishita, it's not a rocket science to know that u don't like raman being near to u. Tum naraaz ho usse aur usse maaf bhi nahi Karna chahti.i saw him trying to convince u but u r firm on ur decision.isse pata chakta hai how much u hate him., So I have a good solution for u.

Ishita-main raman se nafrat karti hoon, yeh pata chal paaya hai tumhe, and u have a solution to my problem too, wow, and whats the solution.

Abhi-divorce Raman.

Ishita-what??

Abhi-yes divorce him and marry me. Aisi khokhali shaadi mein reh kar kya faayda ishita, I love u, marry me, main tumhare kadmon mein jahaan rakh dunga. Marry me ishita,coz I love u alot. He said forwarding his hand, while Raman stopped at door hearing his confession.

Ishita smiled at his confession thinking how can be abhi is such a fool making Raman skip a beat. He was shocked to see ishita smiling at Abhi's confession and start feeling scared what if, she really divorced him. Yes he knows well that she loves him alot but he was little insecure from last few days as even after so many tries she is not forgiving him while spending time with her colleagues, including abhi.

He was full of sweat in a minute,his heart start beating fastly and he start feeling restless and before anyone can hold him, he fainted and fell on the ground making noise.

Ishita and abhi turned to look the reason of the noise and Ishira was stunned to see Raman in floor while froth was coming out of his mouth.

Ishita's eyes widened in shock and she ran to him. She hold him tight and shaked him vigorously calling his name but he was responding, was just murmuring something.

Ishita turned to abhi and shouted -help me.

Abhi came running to her and soon Raman was taken to the ward, senior doctors came running to treat raman while ishita crushed on the floor crying bitterly. She was sitting lifelessly remembering all the moments they spend together all these days. She remembered how he told him that she is also confuse like him and how she is pushing him the way he pushed her away and finally felt guilty.

Ishita folded her hand and said-please Murugan save my raman.its my fault that I pushed him away. Woh baar baar mere paas aate rahe and I keep on denying him. Sab meri galti hai but please don't punish me like this. Mere Raman ki bacha lijiye, main mar jaungi unke bina. She was praying when abhi came to her and said-ishita, woh raman sir, he could not complete as he got slapped tightly. She slapped him once, twice, thrice and then shouted -who gave u the right to point a finger on our relationship. How could u think that I can ever leave him and marry u. Agar mere Raman ki kuch hua naa, I am telling u abhi, I will kill u and myself too.she said and start crying again bitterly falling on the ground.

Ishita -it was all my fault, even after knowing well how fragile he is, I was playing with his emotions. Even after his continuous try I was pushing him away. See what happened, mere Raman mujhe gussa ho gaye. Ab main kya karungi, kaise jeeungi.raman please don't do this to ur ishita, I am sorry. I am really sorry. She was crying her lungs out when abhi said-raman sir ko hosh aa gaya hai, it was a very minor seizure attack. He is asking for u.

Ishita raised her head hearing this and look for a confirmation.

Abhi-he is fine, asking for u. Go and meet him.

Ishita smiled wholeheartedly hearing this and ran to the ward only to see him looking at the door for her. She ran inside the room and took raman in a bone crushing hug.

Ishita showered his face with numerous kiss while he just closed his eyes feeling her touch. Everyone left then alone telling ishita to take care of him to which she just nodded.

All went out leaving Ishra alone. Ishita was hugging him tight when Raman said-tum mujhe chod kar nahi jaaogi naa.

Ishita nodded and said cupping his face-nahi kabhi nahi, how can u even that I can ever leave u.she said leaving in him adjusting herself on his body, their faces were inches apart and they start talking. Ishita was cupping his face.

Raman -then why u smiled. He said with much difficulty.

Ishita-i was smiling at his foolishness. He really thought that he can separate us.

Raman -main thoda darr gaya tha, he said making a baby face.

Ishita-aur main bahut.

Raman -i can't afford to loose u.

Ishita -i would have died without u.

Raman -i love u alot.

Ishita-i love u too raman, bahut bahut bahut se bhi bahut jyada. She said and pecking his temple lovingly while he just closed his eyes feeling happy while she wrapped her arms around him.
