Anika, I feel her so much. All her insecurities of finally giving herself completely are so relatable. I understand her fear of getting hurt if she expects too much. I understand the caution she takes to make sure she never let herself drown in this dream of having a fairytale with him, fearing the pain it will cause if it ends up to be a mirage. And the way he is trying to convince her to think of him to be a companion & just ask for help & the way she is resisting it is spot on. Her fear that if she asks help & if he can't help or won't, she will be disappointed & she won't be able to blame him. Because she knew better not to expect from people, her hardships has taught her that & she still did, and at that point she will held herself guilty. Oh Annz dear I can't tell you how relatable she was today. I love the character sketch they drew today. Everyone was spot on.
And I loved today's episode for that. I hope the graph stays same & we get to see such well written episodes.
Won't comment much about Pinky. It's painful that she can't see that after ages her son is actually experiencing something he can equate to sheer & pure happiness. And it is far more painful that this is not just fictional but it is as real as it can ever get.
I find it questionable. If you love someone & they are happy. Does it matters who the reason behind their happiness is as long as they are happy ? That's the pont , love is selfless. Specially a mother's love is. Love is not based on selfish actions. Its not based on a person being happy because of the reason you love them unconditionally. Love is when you are happy and satisfied seeing the person you love is happy when he is even with some one else. Pinky is acting like a stupid teenager . [/QUOTED]

i was surprised by his talks about companionship ... i loved it ... if anyone knows how to give a proper answer it's shivaaye 😳😳

i was upset with the whole confused annika ... sometimes they're friends sometimes she wants him to confess ... but after writing a post about this ... some people really explained it well and now i get her

Well said ! Perhaps Shivaay's guilt over what he did, is making him behave at his best with her. He is not a shy type. He is a tadibaaz, so why is he resisting to tell her how he feels?

He keeps saying "It's not me. Out of character" So, what is in character?

Making up for his mistakes to her? He did the first one, by calling her up on stage as his wife. He made up for that time he called Tia up and left her humiliated.

however, coming to pinky, i don't like her being ignored this bad ... i know she was never in shivaaye's top priority and she's used to it ... i know it's not about Shivaaye's attention as much as it's about shivaaye's attention to annika

but can u blame her?? she accepted being the last of her son's priority and brothers being first and even with tia she knew that tia will get the same attention as she gets or maybe less

but with annika ... she became his number 1 already ... a job that pinky never managed to do her entire life ... she was never no one's number 1

so i understand pinky (and trust me from someone who hates pinky a lot that's huge😆😆) but my main problem is shivaay ... after watching the destruction or at least damage of every single character to the show ... i just don't want him to go through that ... i don't want him picking sides ... i just hate that

I think Pinky is going to force one of them to force an argument. I have a strong feeling , Annika will leave Shivaay. He will not turn on her, but he cannot help his prejudices. All PInky needs to do is make him speak about it.

But what was Shakti fretting about? WHo was he calling? Kamini, or who? What secret ishe hiding?

one of the things i admire about shivaaye the most that he some how is on everyone's side ... just like when om fights tej ... he stands by om but also defends tej

Shivika scenes were so cute. I had a smile plastered on my face after their " who gets the sindoor box" running around!!
My favourite was Anika talking about how she has handled everything by herself all her life. (Gives me hope that the CV's will give us back our super independent Anika ) and Shivaays reply to that made me go all "awww" . You may not need support, but how about some companionship?

He had this look in his eyes, when she told him she had no one but herself to depend on. Fierce protectiveness, pride, empathy. Like he felt bad she had to face all this alone all this while. Offering himself to her, was the sweetest thing to do. Just like how he told Sahil, to look upon him as family too.

Now coming to Anika Sahil conversation that everyone is up in the arms about.
But I completely get where Anika is coming from. I posted my love story in one of the other threads -- a classic "best friends who love each other but insist on being just friends as they don't want to rock the boat" . Anika is just trying to protect herself, she doesn't want to think that Shivaay loves her and then be shattered when she discovers he doesn't! (we know he loves her, but she needs verbal confirmation.) She does hope and its that hope that makes her flirt with Shivaay and ask for a verbal confirmation.

She needs the words, because she wants to give in to what he is giving her. She was smiling so happily to herself, until Sahil questioned it. Her sudden change to tears shook Sahil also. It's going to be heart wrenching when the pain comes.

Shivaay in todays episode is "husband goals" and I am wondering how to get my best friend turned husband to watch some IB episodes ( to also show him some of Shivaays moves on Anika!!)😆 😳☺️

Today's episode has left me wondering if husbands like this actually exist? If so, I'd love to find one lol. I'm like on cloud 9 watching the Shivika scenes over and over again. Shivaay is definitely setting the bar of what husband goals should be like. It's not necessarily the big romantic gestures that matter, it's the little things that Shivaay is so beautifully doing that has Annika head over heals and also has dragged me along with it. I'm glad the CVs are giving us these moments, because when things start to hit the fan we can go back and just relish these episodes.

A lot of people have been going crazy about how Annika named their relationship as dosti and I posted on another thread that it's quite possible that Annika is using the word dosti as a defence mechanism. She's trying to tell herself that it's nothing more so later it won't hurt her. She rather savour and protect what she has now in the name of dosti rather than think about the future. On the other hand, she continues playing the same dard games, masti, wanting him to confess etc because that's what her heart truly wants. I feel if she gets her confession...it will obviously render the convo with Sahil obsolete. Her convo with Sahil was her mind being active and making her realize the pain that is ahead if she continues on this path. However, When she is with SSO, she becomes that teenage girl so so in love.

The storm that is coming is Pinky and NKK, it's the earthquake that causes the tsunami. That is to say if our assumption is right and the track is going towards this entire thing. Pinkys insecurities are on a rise, and the CVs are obviously trying to set the stage for Mahi's re-entry and whatever craziness he brings in to the entire Oberoi dynamics. My personal opinion is that Pinky is slightly going over the top, I understand she's a mother that too a possessive one ( lol makes me realize where Shivaays possessiveness for Annika stems from, they say an apple doesn't fall far from its tree) however, the guy is married...I can't believe she's acting like the wife and Annika is her sautan or something ( sorry for the bad analogy). She never had this problem with Tia because face it, she even knew that Shivaay didn't give a rats a** about Tia. Tia wasn't a threat, but here she sees her son's world revolving around Annika and that's something she cannot bare. I think it stems from the fact that Shivaays life always revolved around his siblings and dadi. He never cared deeply about the others, I mean he was the wall for the family but when it came for the matters of the heart it was OmRu. And Pinky knew that well, i think what bothers her more is that a random girl who came 6 months ago made a place in his heart right next to his brothers. For that matter, even little Sahil has a little spot in Shivaays heart...I think Pinky feels that Annika came and instead of standing in line for her turn to reach Shivaays heart, she cut the line like a "VIP of some sort" and surpassed her to Shivaays heart. She's is definitely not going to take all this well, and going to phalo some raita. As seen in the upcoming segments she's already started the raita game. I have a solution to the entire Pinky fiasco lol let's just send her to DBO she can do all the Oh My Mata there, no questions asked! Haha! Anyways, I'm actually hoping that Mahi can fill that sons emptiness that she is feeling...that will definitely give Shivika a nice breather.

I'm going to go back and re watch the Shivika moments from today ...after reading your post Anisa it gives me a new freshness to analyze the episode! Great work as usual!!

Shivaay won't let her leave. He just can't. I am afraid a little bit of how this track is going to pan out. So going to enjoy the happy bubble of today.

Lovely post Anisa!! That was one khidkitod episode and apart from one or two things I really enjoyed it😊

First of all the Shivika scenes today were OUT OF THE WORLD.

I mean can they be any cuter?? Their nokjhok was an absolute delight to watch, the little moment while straightening the covers (I myself am in a very tooti footi state today courtesy to a fall I had this morning so their pain was extra real to me😆), then the sindoor scene - okay maybe they need to cut down on the flashbacks a bit, maybe it's just me but I feel like I'm seeing the shaadi wala FB a too much lately), then the repetition of Annika's last nights famous dialogues (I don't know how anyone can say the same dialogues so differently, but that's how awesome Surbhi is - it was so much fun to watch, the way she acted out her words and the way SSO reacted), then the little stint with the 'dibbi', the 'pakdam pakdai' and how cute they were with Sahil, laughing and teasing each other in their blissful little world. I feel so emotional when I see them like this!! Happy Family feelsss 😳

Okay I think I died when Shivaay blushed in front of the camera when asked about the stain on his shirt.

I mean could anyone have imagined this? The great Shivaay Singh Oberoi.

Laughing to himself.

Blushing.

In a room full of strangers!!

*Swoons badly over that perfect flashback of that perfect moment*

He's grinning like a lovestruck teenager.

In public.

And says a hundred beautiful words before calling his lovely 'wife' on stage.

*Dies again*

Gosh he has changed so much! It's not like he wasn't happy before but he's got a spark now that's so endearing to watch!

Annika's scene with Sahil was good, loved their interchange - except that Dosti bit. Really Annika? After all the things that transpired between you two in the past few weeks? The man can't survive one moment without you, goes crazy when you are in any kind of pain, he's kissing you oh so passionately reducing us to mere puddles and you call all this Dosti? Writers please watch your own show sometimes before writing such nonsensical stuff!

Sahil as always is a lil too wise for his age, supporting her emotionally vulnerable sister like he's the older one. I sometimes wonder if it's morally correct to subject a child to so much of 'adult' stuff

Anyway moving on, he believes SSO is in love and Annika probably believes that too, but she's just scared of things working out so perfectly all of a sudden and she's trying not to hope too much, she tells herself she wants to live in the present and not think about the future. It was heart touching, the way she said it - how she still feels her whole world can flip over in a second. I don't blame her at all, after all the hurdles she crossed, all the troubles she faced and all the sadness she was burdened with, it's okay if she feels a bit overwhelmed with all the sudden happiness in her life. I really do hope SSO proves her wrong soon!

Coming to Pinky, well today she made more sense than the last episode but it's also funny how her insecurities just cropped up overnight, like literally! And especially they chose the night Annika took a bullet for her 'beloved' son? The writers could have done better with the scenes as well but okay, I understand where she's coming from and though she is quite annoying, as long as we have Shivika story going on a proper track and as long as SSO doesn't wrong Annika in any way, I'm fine.

Is it weird that it gave me some kind of 'karmic' satisfaction to see Pinky get a dose of her own medicine? Last time when Shivaay meted out the same treatment to Annika and held his hand out to Tia, Pinky had been the one to rejoice.

This time though, not so much.

I sound very evil here I know😆

Also how did Pinky believe Shivaay was going to call her up? Has he ever done that, ever in his whole life? Plus he clearly said the woman he was about to call had helped him out immensely in the last few days. Pinky however, if not anything had been very the reason behind his problems!

She infact stood up for Tia while she plotted against him, made Shivaay almost marry her and accept her baby as his own while it was Annika who stood by him, who helped him both against the Kapoors and then against Kamini and team, and even took a bullet in the process. It isn't rocket science to figure out who Shivaay was talking about. And I don't blame Shivaay at all for what he did.

That scene in the bedroom was hell awkward though. And I blame Shivaay for that one entirely. Dude I know you're blind in love but how could you miss that look in your own mother's eyes? Are you that naive? Felt bad for Annika there, poor girl was stuck between her lovesick hubby and jealous mother-in-law.

Precap had me speechless because this is one scene I've been waiting for all my life! One of those moments when Shivika actually have a proper conversation and Annika opens upto Shivaay a little and Shivaay supports her. It was so beautifully portrayed and I got so emotional, I just can't wait to see the whole thing tomm!!

P.S: Absolutely LOVE the Sahara and Sathi thing, such a beautiful track this is. Kudos to the writers for giving us such moments (yeah kabhi kabhi unki tareef bhi krti hu main😆)

Lovely post anisa... Loved How shivika r progressing... Anika With her flirting is truly trying to gauge how far has Shivaay come from his NKK to say those words to her but his denial to say them gives her little hope that this will last for ever... She wants to make hay while sun shines... She is living in the moment coz she doesn't see a future...

I loved every shivika moment... Sahika moment... And shivsahika moment...

Im a mother of two sons... Though Mine r very very young... A 4 yr old n a 11 month old... But being the elder bahu of a house with two sons I really know how possessive MILs can be...

Despite that I can't understand Pinky's insecurities... Yes hving faced this umpteen times... Hubby being blamed that u will always take ur wife's side... Etc When in reality everything has always happened the way in laws/MIL wants... I nvr hv seen a MIL behave like a sautan... She is a mother while wife is a wife... A lover... Love n care for mother r way different than love n care for spouse... They rnt comparable... Why is pinky trying to compete with Anika is something g which is beyond me... Being a mom of two sons I know there is deffo gonna b a time when my birds will fly... N fly They must... If As a daughter I hv taken responsibility n charge of my married life, my sons too will take responsibility of their married life... If my dad understands that I love my hubby... I will hv to understand my sons will n should love their respective wives...is it so diff for pinky to understand that? But pinky has always been an obsessively possessive mother... She is always ranting Mera Shivaay Mera Shivaay... I know my Shivaay... I kept him for 9 months in my womb... Etc etc... Lady Every biological child is in his/her mom's womb for 9 months... N that Mom takes care of the child but a mother is a nurturer not a soul mate... Pinky Gives me chills... If Someone really has exactly this kinda mil please god help them... Bachhe honeymoon period romance mein na guzare toh Kya Maa ke naam ka jaap karte guzare hamesha?

N well said... Shivaay tried n undid the insult he brought on to anika by announcing tia as his wife after he forcefully married her... Today he announced her as the person behind his success... Person deserving his award... His share... N He blushed when asked bout sindoor... Remembering his escapade with his wifey...

Anisa, what is your take on Anika naming it "Dosti" . There is so much outrage over it on twitter and here.

I really liked the way sahil anika conversation ended. She wants to just live in the moment, not think of the future. I am glad they gave us this glimpse into her mind.

PS: They really are takkar ki Jodi... one thinks all the dard, farak and blushing translates to only friendship and the other thinks she can be his wife but not mother of his kids!!!! confused souls!! 🤣
