When Shivaay loves, he really gives all of himself. It must be something really new for him, it seems to have completely taken him over. Oh to be a newlywed again, and in love... (now I sound old and crotchety... 😆.. ) He is very generous in giving love, just like we saw with his brothers. But this romantic Billu is stuff of dreams, and it has swept Annika off her feet. for this short sweet interlude of heady happiness.
It shines in his eyes, and his soft authoritative ways about her. Insisting to put on the salve for her, sharing his mother's special remedy. Annika acutely feels Pinky's indigestion, but Shivaay doesn't. It doesn't occur to him that his mother is feeling insecure about where she stands in his life. Now that Annika is Shivaay's wife proper.
After all, they have been married a few months already. Why start now, Mummyji? They have been living in the same bedroom since the first night they married.
It's simple.

Two different roles. One is comforting and maternal and caring. The new one is heady and sweet and exciting. He is a man, young and passionate. Let him live for Heaven's sake. Shivaay and Annika play around each other all day. First , teasing about their aches and pains, comfort level at maximum. Then, he helps her put on sindhoor, as she struggled. This time, he is facing her, looking into her eyes, feeling and sharing the moment.
(First time, she was under veil and crying, second time they were playacting and facing the mirror, third time also facing the mirror before they exposed Tia)
She says she would've done it herself. He wonders why she finds it so hard to accept help from anyone, even when she struggles.
She says she only ever had herself to depend on, in good times and bad. She has fended off all her enemies herself. Learned from her mistakes. No one had her back, she had her own back. She picked herself up when she fell. Support is for weak crybaby types, not her.
He offers companionship. Whether or not you need support, everyone needs someone to hold on to. Even Superwoman called Annika..

He insists that she learn to ask for help whenever she needs it. Bhashan..😆 They get into a cute argument about who is short and who is (not) overweight. 😆 She says OK she will ask for help, but only if he tells her what she wants to hear, all those filmy lines about what she meant to him.
They end up chasing each other around and on the bed like little kids. SO CUTE I TELL YOU !!! *screams*
Shivika are arriving, guys. Trainstop called Love. If only they realized that it was their destination. Now someone is already plotting to throw them off the train.
Sahil catches them in play. Then they start arguing over Sahil also. The cute little happy family scene gives Pinky more indigestion.
Sahil and Annika have a heart to heart about why she can't stop smiling. Sahil tells her how worried Shivaay was when she was shot. And how he accepted Sahil and her as his family.
Annika says Shivaay is too nice and generous, he would say these things. But Sahil insists, this version 2.0 Shivaay loves her, this awesome, mindblowing No.1 Man of the Year type guy.
Annika is skeptical. She calls it friendship. Yes, she loves him, but he won't be able to love her back. She still thinks Naam , Khoon, and Khandaan is a huge obstacle. Sahil disagrees.
Annika doesn't want to dream. Poor thing was smiling so much first, and ended up weeping so sadly. I am happy now, I don't want to think about the future.
She really thinks they won't last. She figures that Shivaay is such a gentleman that he would be as generous to anyone in her place. He understands her now, and is so sweet, but she doesn't want to confuse it as a lifetime commitment.
Poor girl. She knows Shivaay well, NKK is ingrained in him, it seems disabled for now, but she knows it will rear its head soon.
She is trying as well, to get him to speak of his feelings. He resists, and she does it jokingly, as though she isn't asking for the most important words she needs to hear. She would face death for him, but he refuses to say what he feels.
But he cares. So much. So much it burns his mother like a continuous bonfire. At the press-con, he blushes about the sindhoor on his collar. And gives credit to his wife for saving his life, if she didn't, he wouldn't have been alive to collect the award.
And his mother burns, for all the 32 years of upbringing and love. Overlooked.
But this very scene happened to Annika, some time ago. After she was chased down and dragged to the mandap, he forcefully married her, demeaned her, and then announced Tia as his wife, held his hand out just like that and denied it to Annika.
He was making up for that today. Today, Annika went up for that place of honour, as his wife. Finally.
