Public too remembers every film that BigB starred in ,during his reign.as an Amitabh Film.

Deewar is an AB film,Dostana,Trishul,Kala Pathar,Dostana, muqaddar ka sikandar..all films are simply Amitabh films.

These days heroines too have understood the futility of acting in Khan films ..They will be remembered as Khan films..

AB had that screen presence, even if it wasnt an action film, his charisma would over shadow everyone else. That is not HIS fault, IMO.

Maybe Rishi was not tha good and so he didn't get credit

Amitabh praised and admired sashi kapoor a lot.

This post sounds like grabbing for TRP in most obvious way.

Weird way of grouping actors. Shashi Kapoor, Shatrugan Sinha and himself were Bachchans side-kicks and played secondary roles but Dharmendra and Rajesh Khanna were superstars themselves and if anything Amitabh Bachchans played the secondary role to them in films like Sholay, Chupke Chupke and Anand and he's always given those two more than their share of credit. Grouping himself and Shashi Kapoor with Dharmendra is kind of like Saif Ali Khan grouping himself with Salman.

Agree with this..

I also thought the 3 stars after Dev Anand, Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor were Amitabh, Dharmandra and Rajesh Khanna..Until the 3 khans came along.

there were no room for anyone else beside these at least until mid 80s. Yeah sheshi Kapoor, sheturgan Sinha and vinood had their moments.. but those 3 did the most business... I would actually put Dharmandra a ahead of the other 2..

so credit or no credit.. those 3 stars name sold movie tickets..

Not agree about Dharam ji...he had equally powerful role in sholay and even in Ram avatar Dharam ji had a more powerful role and more screen appearance then Amitabh.. ppl loved veeru of sholay more then Amitabh...in chupke chupke Amitabh had a very small role.. what rishi ji is saying can be true about him shatrughan and Shashi ji but not about Dharam ji.. Dharam ji was already a superstar when Amitabh entered in Bollywood.

I think Amitabh Bachchan jas always given die credit to his co actors. There have bwen number of times where he has said that Shashi ji was such a pleasure to work with and how good an actor he was.I agree movies like Deewar and Trishul is remembered as Amitabh Bachchan films and he did get author backed roles but Shashi Kapoor's contribution has been recognised.
