Hey!

I came across this show in my feed of suggested videos. I kind of skipped through episode 9 to get a feel for the show.

Can anyone who watches this show give me a review or any general comments?

As I understand, it is about a girl who gets married to a cousin who 'loves' her to the point of obsession.

Does he rape her? 😕

I am confused, so please clarify my doubts. Also correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, very much. Here you go-

That is episode 8.

BTW, do Pakistanis not like makeup? The comments under the video are hilarious. 😆

Comments like 'jitna makeup yeh roz karte hain utna makeup hum shaadiyon mein karte hain', 'iska makeup dekhkar bilkul dukhi nahi lag rahi hai yeh'.

Reminds me of Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat. Except that guy was not remorseful for the longest time. Why do screenwriters do this? Now I expect the girl will fall in love with the rapist 'cause he is so 'sad, cute and loving'.

Also, if that Saad dude is such a good guy, why in heaven's name did he rape her? How psychotic.

Is it based on a book?

That's a very common drama trope...falling in love with ones tormentor...I have seen it in dramas from every language be it Hindi, Urdu, Engilsh, Korean or Chinese.....Sick!!!🤢

Very true. You have to watch Thai dramas OMG. They're called lakorn. The male 'leads' regularly rape the female leads there. It's like a rite of passage or something.

Urggg...I just hate it when rapists are treated as victims. It happens in real life and that's enough that they need to promote it in shows too. Sick!
