I didn't watch the episode, but I think I can gurss. I agree with you on why Sona cried. Recently Canada welcomed 25,000 refugees. Canadians went to airport with bouquet, welcome signs, toys and balloons to welcome them. After living in a refugee camp and treated worse than animals, when they saw the beaming faces and welcoming crew, some of them dropped on the ground and just cried. Some of them are those who hadn't shown any emotions for ages.
No one knows the value of kindness and compassion than the people who were deprived of it. And Sona, after living all her life like a cherished daughter when she was treated as if she has no value as a human being, that little smile and kindness that Ishwari used as a tool anyway, made her happy.
I felt so much pity for her. No one, woman or man, has to feel that kindness to them is a favour.
When I feel anyone in pain, my heart breaks. How could any woman justify that, Malvika? I don't understand the level of cruelty one woman is capable of against another.
And the least I say about Dev, the better. He is one shitty son of a *you know what*...
