My fav genre was never Saas bahu show.I don't know how I end up watching this show and fall in this trap . may be i was expecting mature story 😆 like z indagi gulzar Hain . sorry I edited this post thought different prisoner of war is American series😆 just came to know it was airing on starplus. thank you for suggestions😆👍🏼

Hear hear... I hope the people who call your posts negative could read this. This is exactly my thought process too.
I don't give 2 hoots about the serial characters. Just like to involve myself into discussion with like minded people. It is such a refreshing perspective.

POW-Bandhi Yudh Ki this is the show name. It's based on Israeli show POW[Original Hebrew title Hatufim, literally "Abductees").Which was made as Homeland in Ameria.POW-Bandhi Yudh Ki is adaption/remake of these two shows.Nikil Advani [Director Kal Ho Na Ho N D-Day.He is directing the show]

No offense to Ishqbaaz fans. This show lead is also typical sacrificial heroine.Who take heroes manhandling n verbal abuse.Yet want to help him.Typical Gul Khan show of Angry Young man N bubbly heroine.

A kingdom of despair it is. Sona was at fault when she agreed to marry Dev even after raising all the valid questions a day before in front of him and him giving no answers to any of them. But now she is trying to make her marriage work since day 1 by giving up on her self-respect like never existed before. I would again say, God knows what kind of love marriage it is where the girl is trying to adjust by bending so much from day1. Not even a bride after arranged marriage would take so much and do so much like her. About the taunts and insults, I think her behaviour is partially because she sees Dev not answering back to GKB, Neha or his mother and so she is bound to understand him being respectful enough to these so as not to reply back. - Agreed. I think so too.

You won't believe some have already started worshipping Dev for he married Sona even when she cannot conceive. amazing haan. As If the whole purpose of marriage is to produce kids only. Sona should be happy after knowing this fact. I can see future when many would be sorry for Dev when Sona would be angry at Dev for hiding her reports which was a ethical failure on Dev's part. - Why am I not surprised? There are women who will justify every immortal and unethical behaviour of a rich and handsome man and there are some woman who judge everyone equally regardless of their gender and circumstances based on their actions.

Current situation of Neha is resulting due to frustration, of seeing someone happy with their husband, something she has already started missing but hasn't realised completely. Slowly she would go into deep sadness and be more bitter in the process to others. She deserves happiness because she is one dixit who has a heart. What she needs is a good soul who could help her retain some patience and make her understand reality of true happiness. Not the happiness what Sona has because I won't wish anyone the life Sona is living right now. - If just money made her happy, then Neha should be happiest now. But she is miserable. She has to identify it before her mother and brother destroys her life.

I don't know how someone justifies and many do, the daily insults on DIL as part of reality rather than getting to think over the atrocity of things done in our society in the name of culture. shameful. and then people complain about women getting tortured. Well now we know where that comes from, isn't it. Reality it is !! - Yes, reality. But in no way forgivable, justifiable or excusable. Specifically coming from a woman.

BTW did the cv's forget about Khatri and Ranveer. I want them back. Thora Ishwari ko bhi tension lene do, how can she keep going with giving tension to others and receive none. 😉 😆

And Tia what a meaningful post... I love your writing.. I only come here to read your posts... And I don't watch this show... Because now I've learned to stop watching a show which doesn't entertain me anymore even if it is my favorite show with good looking onscreen couple...

Thank you. Through my posts, and people like my readers who come from different walks of life and experiences, I am hoping to get the conversation going so that other women in difficult circumstances just read the open discussion and at least think about alternative way if not participate in our discussion. The show will end one day but I hope the thought remains that every human being is unique and image of God and as such deserve their respect and dignity.

I grew up in Kolkata and during school years I used to visit Mother Teresa through my volunteer work from my school. I learned the value of human dignity from her. Even when she helped the poorest of the poor, she never behaved as if she was doing them any favour. But she behaved as if they are doing her a favour by letting her serve them. She used to say that God resides in every soul, when you mistreat a person, you are insulting God.
