Better film?

So the question is simple..IMO, both films are mediocre at best (and i know many who found either or both unbearable)..But all things considered, if you had to choose, which is the better film? And given how both have extremely popular songs, which is the better album? I personally disliked YJHD and was quite disappointed that Ayaan came up with this half baked plot post WUS but if i had to choose, i'd totally go with YJHD simply because at the end of the day, Ayaan is a better writer than KJo in every way..I actually believe ADHM would have turned out to be a better film if Ayaan directed it instead of KJo..YJHD had a half baked love story, poorly written lead characters but it still had its moments of brilliance..That scene where Bunny realizes that Avi has been following his show all along or the sequence where Bunny and Naina go sight seeing- they all showed Ayaan's potential as a writer..Karan on the other hand had a good concept but he is one guy who is just incapable of handling complex emotions..He is extremely uni-dimensional as a director and it shows..As far as the albums go, I love the title track of ADHM, Bulleya and Channa Mereya but Kabira encore is love <3 That song is all kinds of beautiful and i'd choose that over 9 out of 10 songs 😆 To cut the long story short, i know both films were/are mediocre but if you still had to choose, which one is your pick? Neither of the two is very convenient so am not even giving that option 😆

I loved YJHD. I know some part of it were cliched but really executed well. The characters were well written and well portrayed. The characters were soo relatable. Selfish bunny, Nerdy Naina, Looser Abhi and the eccentric Aditi - ripped off from real life...The only problem I felt was with the songs. I loved them individually but two three songs were out of place in movie.

YJHD anytime anyday and I dont even like this movie much 😆 but atleast it was entertaining and had a flow.

i liked ADHM
but if i have to pick i will go with yjhd
everything was better in yjhd
i liked channa and bulleya in adhm
but i loved whole album of yjhd
illahi and kabira song itself beat adhm
and ranbir looked better in yjhd
in illahi 😳
anushka did good job but she looked average on the other hand deepika looked beautiful
supporting cast of yjhd ,writing, everything was better
yjhd had desi touch

YJHD all the way...ADHM is a waste of time, money, talent and energy. Don't know why did KJo need to make a movie that was a remake of all his earlier movies and a new tragic ending.

Its such a feel good movie.. Despite sad ending i did nt feel for any character in Adhm but in YJHD i feel for each n every character.. be it avi, aditi, bunny, naina.
That last new year scene was love .
I loved wedding sequence, avi's loneliness, bunny's realisation.
Yjhd was simple sweet movie (Life me kitna hi koshish karo kuch na kuch to chutega nhi) karan triied to make it complex n failed miserably.. Even i liked soty more than adhm

i dont get the obsession of foreign location for romantic movies
movies likes ,ev,queen ,znmd ka samajh ata hai because its required in that. as shooting location is very imp in these movies

but if u r making romantic movies stick to india
it use to work in early 20s( kkhh,khnh) but now not gonna work
love storeis like jwm,snt,BBB are million times better than likes adhm,anjani anjani
ek toh budget badao aur movie bhi flop
yjhd might not have worked if they did whole wedding sequence and trip in london or Us

why dont they explore north east, rishikesh,ranthambore sikkim
