Sorry to say u r being delusional
Ranveer needed RL..he needed BM to established his range as an actor..i dont see any other director taking a huge risk of casting almost a nrwcomer in such higj budgeted movie..remember bombay velvet how he got thrown out because of his commercial viability??

use they haven't done a full blown romance together but Shimit does not do romance so lets see what he comes up with. Excited nonetheless.

He's a very good director. CDI is one of best and really well paced movies of the last decade and Rocket Singh was good as well.  
RS should take it asap. It would be better than Befikre at least.

I fully understand that SLB gave RS the break he needed with RL,  but  SLB wasn't commercially
successful either, with RS he got the success he wanted
as I said they both benefited from working together
