Ranbir (Kapoor) messaged me after seeing the Mirzya trailer to say that I can't be compared to anyone, I'm a different kind of a beast. Yes, I don't see myself in the same bracket as Tiger (Shroff) or Sooraj (Pancholi). Even Varun (Dhawan) and Sidharth (Malhotra) who are older, have made different choices and an actor is defined by his choices.

Sorry rant not over...such a bloody pretentious piece this is. Had skipped the part where him having seen The Godfather and The Silence of the Lambs by 13 years of age is supposed to be some laudable feat...like dekho hamaare bache ne grades skip karke 13 years ki age mein cinema mein PhD karli😆 Haan bhai tu Doogie Howser hain Bollywood ka.

Ranbir jaisa bhi ho but he has a genuine passion for the craft and it shows. Gotta give it to him where its due. But for Harshvardhan (damn such a long name), it appears that he's trying to cultivate that image. 🥱

So true...RK genuinely loves movies and its evident in how he speaks about it. Furthermore, even after having proved his credibility as an actor I cannot recollect him ever having blown his own trumpet the way this guy is on just a trailer release

What was there in the interview? Index of films he watched? That too he spoke nothing substantial about them. Bas he went on listing them. And different kind of beast? Aisa bhi kya tha trailer mein? 🤣
