The storyline is similar to yhm,leap n all.There was a patel in the movie credits.

I don't know what raman thinks about his marital status right now...does he still consider ishita as his wife or does he thinks he is single ( since he considers ishita as dead for him)?😕...But reality is irrespective of his thinking he can not deny that ishita is still alive and so he is still married to her.

What culture ?? The makers are progressive people ... Progression is the key ... Full of wanabeez ... showing part of what's happening ... EK is obsessed with extra marital affairs , deception , adultry ( which is actually not adultry anymore , it's called freedom now ) take any of her serials and movies , there is something psychological about EK's obsession with this . ya ya.. i agree wit u.. i'm not a indian grl.bt a srilankan grl.. soo many indian teledramas telecasting in srilanka and "me adarayai(yhm)" is d most populr one among them.bt when we watch that, actuly we think," is this the indian style?" aftr dvos from a wife, marry anotr one, aftr dat, again going to mary ex one.. what's dis a? soo many srilankn peoples blame tv chanls for dis indian teledramas.. thats are soo intersting(specly yhm) bt dats distroy indian culture..

I dont think anyone is looking at the daily soaps to evaluate a culture of any society...definitely not the desi soaps or soaps of any kind in the world...they have a definite purpose...to entertain at any cost...that leas to OTT storyline especially in the scenario of long running dailies...they have to maintain the interest somehow which translates to outrageous storyline..

Like how in BW masala movies, there is no reflection of the Indian society or real life ...soaps are the same. it used to be different pre-EK invasion of the Indian tellly Industry... Sony tries to bring in soe realistic shows but the TRP audience mostly rejects them...

Probably "It's so bad, it's really entertaining" is more of a norm...look at the shows ruling TRP chart..you'l get a whiff of what sells.
