Everything that's wrong about Karuwaki

Why CV's??
Why did they have to forcibly introduce Karuwaki at this time especially when there's nothing related to Kalinga going on. For god's sake, Ashoka was the greatest emperor in the history of India NOT some love sick drunkard Devdas whose only aim is to meet the love of his life. This is just so stupid man. Even school going teenagers will not accept such nonsense forget about adults. 🥱

And what was shown the other day Ashok remembering KVK and dancing in a bar was really cheap.
Chanakya must be hanging his head in shame looking at all that's happening.

So I'm giving reasons for disliking at the pathetic, illogical portrayal of KVK:

1. No connection to story: Right now during these years when Ashok goes into hiding, he should really be planning along with Radhagupt about ways to take on Sushim and expose Chanakya's killers.
But what do we have here?? Ashok as a love sick puppy yearning for a princess of enemy kingdom.
They should remove KVK from the picture right now and focus on Ashok-Sushim rivalry. She can be introduced when Kalinga track begins.

Till then NO KVK please!!

2. Supid diyas and dhagas: ANd what's miss KVK doing? Drooling over her past memories of Ashok, maintaining diyas and tying dhagas on banyan trees.

This is just so laughable. at times I can't control my laugh at the stupidity shown. 😆

If they really want to show KVK, then she can be shown helping her dad in managing Kalinga kingdom's affairs.

3. Stupid Cindrella Outfits: KVK's outfits are totally out of sync with those times. At lease Reem the younger KVK had nice princess clothes and looked really nice and royal.

But what do we have now? Pink color Cindrella outfit? Like seriously?
KVK's only work these days is to get dressed as if she's going for some ballet dance in a wedding ceremony.
That way Devi, Dharma and others look in sync with their times. But KVK is a disaster.

4. Bad acting: Why does Saumya give the same expressions all the time? Her facial expressions are really stoic and drab. Doesn't show any kind of nuances based on situations.
Crying and other scenes look really artificial.
She should seriously work on her acting, expressions and nuances. It's not at all suitable for a princess .

5. Sanskrit: For god's sake, the show is depicting times almost 2500 years ago. Karuwaki talking style is too western and modern. This is not a Angelina Jolie movie from Hollywood.
Your utterences of Sanskrit words must be very clear and sharp.
"Spashth Uccharan Avashyak hain".
Reem did a decent job w.r.t Sanskrit pronunciation.

Mohit is fab at that. But this actress needs to really work hard on this.

All in all my opinion is just remove KVK from the picture right now. She's not at all needed.
KVK ke na hone se show band nahi hoga.

Right now, they must focus on Ashok's return to PP, exposing Chanakya killers, killing of Sushim and others and Ashok's path to becoming the samrat. This is what is going to bring them 3+ trps (like before).

For love, they can show Ashok-Devi marriage track. And then bring back Ahankara.

KVK can be reintroduced later on during Kalinga track.

much needed post can't agree more👏 i agree with each and every word u wrote bang on⭐️
the whole kvk chapter is annoying even in childhood it was uncalled for and right now its eye soring🤢
the script is going nowhere with this and somya is adding up to the annoyance with poor acting, mohit played mahadev so obviously he is rocking the dialogues but somya😡 if she was so desperate to play kvk why didn't she work on her accent and expressions what was she doing the whole year? i would have understood if she had actually worked hard and earned the role but right now she has forced herself in the show and cvs r forcing her character now.
i hate the way she says, " aaj hamari ashok se bhait hogi, hamen esa abhas ho rha hai"

P.s get ready for advices to leave the show bcoz u dislike the female lead who shouldn't even be the central character 😛

You said exactly all of my mind's words, I just want to say now that saumya is just a good looking girl that's the only good point about her but then everything else sucks about her as an actress! She took acting course in USA but still there is not a bit improvement in her acting, she is a very very bad choice for kaurwaki's role & she is no match with reem's acting in terms of playing kaurwaki, lastly I exactly wanted the same that you mentioned in the last line, there was really no need of introducing kaurwaki at this stage they should have focused on devi then should have brought ahankara then they should have thought about bringing back kaurwaki.
Also yes I am not liking this changing behavior of Ashok as if the story writer is also changed with the leap, Ashok should have focused on his mission on how to take back his position in his house & try to fulfill his guru chanakya's dream but rather than doing that he is roaming around like a lost love sick puppy as if meeting kaurwaki & getting back her in his life is the only mission of his life, he used to be a mature, sensible boy in his childhood but now he became a complete idiotic guy. It's very sad to say that till now the post leap story sucks big time I am completely loosing interest in the show, I somewhat knew this is gonna happen that's why I wanted to see the young cast for sometime more at least I would have enjoyed there awesome acting and good characterization of their respective roles .

Though all Kaurwaki fans will disagree with you but I totally agree with you. Kaurwaki is not needed for now. She is the only reason that the show has lost the focus. I wonder when will the real story start. Kaurwaki should go on vacation for 3 months at least. I have no hope for Ahankara to come back but why aren't they showing AshVi ? Why not follow the history ?

We should all tweet Colors and the show so that they stop showing crap.

Did Ashok even properly take Chanakya's name and remember his wish/mission ? Poor Chanakya he is not in peace thinking what a Devdas Romeo he has become. 😆

Absolutely perfect thread rishi. 👏
There is no loopholes in your post that anybody can disagree. I would love to see the disagreement on this post 😛😆

P.S. All the REAL CAS viewers know this is a perfect post but your last line of Adding devi/ahankara romance will be the only thing noticed and you will be labeled a hater. 😉

Agree with you 100%. But don't bring in Ahankara at this juncture. I don't want this triangle to become a rectangle.Although at this time Devi is hardly shown as a romantic interest. She's more of a one-woman Ashok cheering squad.I fear they'll show that corrupt Nirankush putting the moves on Devi and Ashok having to intervene.Once it becomes known that he's a Mauryan Prince, Devi's greedy father would arrange them to be compromised (Regency romance slang for an unmarried couple found together alone by a shocked society) and force a wedding. Not the direction how I want the Devi-Ashoka romance to go😔

It should ideally be

1.Devi

2.Kaurwaki (After Devi takes the kids and leaves for Vidisha)

3.Ahankara/Asandhimitra (Kaurwaki is not happy about Ashok's plans for attacking Kalinga and has banished him from her bedroom. The kingdom needs heirs and someone puts forth Ahankara's name as a likely candidate.

4. Padmavati. Ashok can get married to Padmavati once it's shown that Asandhimitra cannot bear children after a tragic accident.

5.Tikshya Rakshita after Asandhimitra dies.

They can easily make 500 episodes and if they write everything with a bit of creativity it won't be a drag at all. Many supporting characters can be incorporated and this can get Ashoka high TRPs for a long long time.

But unfortunately these CVs just don't get it. They ruined MRP with nonsense romance and technically they barely showcased the life of Maharana Pratap because Pratap was Rana for barely 40 episodes or so from the total of 540.
