Naah! She's pretty, can dance but a weak actor. Also she used to imitate Kareena a lot earlier.

Nobody from the current lot can make it in BW. They just don't have the X factor, looks or the talent. Vikrant Massey can be a great supporting actor but not lead. I can see no-one besides him doing well In BW.

Coming back to Mouni, she's quite beautiful, very good figure but she's a basic actor. Above average at most. She's good for the small screen, but not the big one. The only actor who I felt had a chance & is too beautiful for the telly, is already onscreen today & doing decently- Yaami Gautam.

nope... she is not that good of an actress.. easily overshadowed by Adaa in her serial.. if she cannot shine in her serial tou movies tou bohut mushkil hai

Small screen actors are too much exposed so they loose novelty somehow

Mouni is beautiful great dancer and I quite liked her in Mahadev

But for big screen she is too homely

Why not?

Honestly, becoming a star in BW is a combination of a range of actors- talent, networking abilities, screen presence, X factor etc. As an actor, she is average, but then, we have so many average actors in BW. 😆

If TV actors had the kind of connections a lot of them do, then I think with grooming, acting/dancing classes, they could do well enough. Loads of people in BW who aren't 'special', so to speak, but they have the right people behind them.
