Late night "kisu kisu"
(In Tamil that term is used for gossip and girl talk)
She changed into her night clothes, and stepped out an hour later, he wouldnt let her
leave, he read on her bed, as she snoozed on his chest, she could hear the music he was
listening to, he tapped her anklet with the beat rhythmically.
"I should have bought more books for Brinda Vasu" she mumbled
"U shud ask Mrs Sagar to send some tomorrow, I dont think Excelsior closes until Wed" he suggested
"Do u miss her?" II asked
He chuckled
"I miss all the treats she would hide in the drawer for me" II whispered
He lay her down, and cupped her face, kissing her slowly as he moved
"There is a HOUSE FULL OF PEOPLE" she whispered panicking stopping him, she felt his arousal on her belly
"I saw that" he whispered mimicking her
"I cant stifle my moans" she panicked
He laughed out loud
She punched him, they fondled and tasted and fondled some more
"She keeps dancing all night" II whined
He kissed her belly
"Vidu da... I have to go help Amma lay the clothes out" she whispered
He pulled the blanket over them and lay down... and so when she went out it was almost 11
Ranjan and Venkat had made all the beds neatly, the girls curled up and were fast asleep on one
II went and sat down by them, gently caressing their hair
Lakshmi wandered and sat down by her
"I know everyone wears what u are wearing" she said shyly
Looking at II's pink velour lounge pants, tee and a hoodie

Athimber like such clothes, where we live in Janakpuri is not very posh" Lakshmi said sheepishly
"U can wear it after your doors are all shut?" II offered
"I wear jeans when we go somewhere, oru pair irukku... ada save panni badrama vechu iruken" (I have a pair of jeans I have saved it) Lakshmi said
II looked at her in awe, felt a lil embarrassed... she had a closet the size of D II and she still couldnt resist buying clothes
"Can u and I go to Saket Mall?" II asked
"Ayyo its too expensive" Lakshmi said
"I dont wear modern clothes, "chudidar" mostly or sarees (Iyers use that word for Punjabi suits)
"U will look great" II said cheerfully
"Ayyo, vendaam pa" (no no!) Lakshmi was bashful
"Hey tell me... how is the Punjabi boy?" Lakshmi whispered

The men, Appa, Ranjan, Athimber and Venkat were all in the small home office which the Iyers called "computer room"

II smiled... amused... "They both are possessive"
"Venkat is not romantic" Lakshmi sighed.. enviously
