We have our share of pains and grief . Not being able to stay together topping it
I returned in panic hearing of periappa's state. The home required effort and setting right
Akka had rushed to solve an issue with grades, Appa and Amma on hospital duty
I did not get the pampering of my masakkai phase in my porandhaagam
The dude knowing my attachment and attention needing state calls often in a worried state
Remotely he operates to address my needs me and ours his current worry
Work , navrathri, Akka's home needs will require attention as also DII with its increasing to care for list
We miss each other and long for the other eternally by our side
I can't chuck my job, he can't shift base. Folks view me as being unreasonable
Its not professional prospects alone my duty to my parents, Periappa and Dad retain me here
Akka may experience discomfort, resource crunch, yet Athim and she are just a call away and within reach
Motherhood will compound my problems but I'd have one more person to love and he a stronger tug towards MM
This is our lot our chosen course our rocky road to tread
