Better in sense of looks?
They make many brilliant movies and I am a North Indian watched their movies.
They accept them so that mean they care less about looks.

BW...many small budget films and content films r made in BW...even Tamil,Marathi and Malyalam cinema is doing well...they too do a lot of content films...

Apart from Bollywood, the Punjabi industry is getting better. I love the movies.

Have seen very few Tamil movies and a lot of Hindi ones so Bollywood it is for me :)

Content wise - Malayalam, Marathi,Tamil & Bengali
Lavish wise - Bollywood followed by Tollywood

Punjabi movie industry is called Pollywood
Minus Bollywood, I haven't watched films from any of the other industries u mentioned as i dont understand the language + not a fan of subtitles, but if theyre really good script wise i might have to give them a try!

Very sensible and brilliant movies are made there.

I've heard many people say that Bengali movies are also very good. But I've not seen any so far. So no comments.

But ofcourse, BW gossip and the shoshebaazi here is more interesting than anywhere else. 😆
